blocking them in would be my choice, and when they call your number, tell them: 1.i'll move for you this time but next time catch the bus home next time I wont move it after this goodwill gesture. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Firstly, action needs to be done in conjunction with your neighbours. Put a sign up. If that has no effect agree with your neighbours on a date when they're not using their cars/parking space, warn the offender. "We are undertaking work in this garden, please do not use".
If that has no impact then dump a small skip or a few dumpy bags of soil in the access way. "Sorry, can't do anything until Monday. We did warn you"...0 -

They are trespassing, and you can sue them for trespass. Take their numbers and write a note on their car saying that they are trespassing and you will be seeking £100 plus costs in compensation for trespass. For £2.50 you can get their address from DVLA as you have reasonable cause. First time it's a bluff, second time, they will get a shock when they actually get a letter at home - and you can make some money too.
It's what the private parking people do, but there is no reason why you shouldn't do it, though if it is leasehold you have a problem as you are not the landowner.
That should get rid of them.
Although they are jokes, you should not do anything to damage the car (even stickers on windscreens are legally dubious) and you cannot block the car in legally - that is the same thing as clamping and is unlawful.
The post is the best idea, and makes your car a bit more secure overnight too.0 -
I suggest you read POFA. (para 54). You are still intentionally preventing them removing the car. The sign you put up means nothing, however the fact that there is a car there prevents you putting a skip or anything else to block the entrance.
There's always one fighting for the rights of the bad guys....0 -

Is it the same car? If you can identify where they work (it must be local), you can drop by and ask them to move. Hopefully that'll stop it. If not, tell them you're going on holiday and give them 10 minutes to move before they are blocked in for a fortnight.0

If you sue them for trespass, the two possible outcomes are:
a) An injunction - to prevent further trespass
or b) Compensation - to cover any damage done
You can't profit from a trespass offence. If there is no damage done, then the best you can hope for is an injunction. This is why private parking companies go out of their way to avoid appearing as if the charge is compensation for trespass - the charges are always in lieu of parking charges.
The only really effective remedy is barriers to prevent trespass onto your land in the first place,0 -
