people parking on our back garden
I live in a flat in one of those large Victorian conversions. there is a small back garden that can accommodate three cars without blocking the exit. It's all well and good as there are just three of us residents with cars. As I live close to the city centre, there are a few mental health trusts and law firms close by. I am not entitled to an on street parking lot from the council as all permit lots are across the street. sometimes there are these employees who park on our garden. Sometimes, I get home early and find that I have to park behind these idiots on my own garden and leave a number to reverse out for them. It's happened three times in the last two weeks I've had the car- including today. I was originally planning to go to a friend's at 4pm but now can't as there isn't any non permit parking lots anywhere! I've tried writing nice polite notes but this person in particular still insists on parking here. Is there any recourse I can get, it's becoming extremely annoying. thanks!

I'm not sure how they'd react to it if I did block them in without a number- what if a tow truck comes and removes my car? it's not exactly a banger0

Or put bins or something there? People would be less happy to park if they had to move things I think.

Just block them in, leave a number and when they ring tell them you'll be there in 10 minutes. Take 20. Next time take 30, repeat. They will get the message.Pants0
