Wondering when this will all be resolved on the credit report.
Mine still shows as outstanding- not ideal.

I have a few Wonga loans from 2011 (when I was a idiot) and I am wondering if Wonga would be kind enough to wipe these off my report too? I repaid on-time and would feel a little hard done by if they wipe outstanding money and the report for that one, but not the positive use of their service that is also affecting my report as they are " Payday Loans "

Id sooner pay back the full amount they say I owe them and have a completely clean account than them wipe some outstanding amount and leave loads of "Satisfied" accounts on my file.

Why on earth would they remove fully-paid-up loans from your credit report?

I got the email on 10 October. They promised another to confirm the loan balance was £0. Haven't had this yet, but I know that they haven't taken the instalment from my bank today.

Lesson learned about PDLs, thankfully. Does anyone know if other lenders like Payday Express are likely to follow Wonga's example...?
  • My account hasn't been updated yet, saying they've attempted multiple times to take payment and a link to request a payment arrangement . I expected it to be wiped by now.
  • Just this second checked mine and its says £0 now, only been done in last 30 mins as checked earlier

This wasn't what I expected thought it would say £0.00 owed or something similar.
