Ooohh am i likely to get a refund?

My refund is for a payment I made on the day the emails were sent out. You will only receive a refund if you have made a payment on or after the email, and you were told not to. Or the interest/charges were refunded. It would of been explained in the email.

It should be by the end of the month, as they originally said. I was also told last week that it will all be done by the end of the week. Clearly they are behind.

My account still hasn't been updated. I have another payment due on the 10th November. How do I stop them from taking payment if my account still hasn't been updated by then?

    Hi

People who have had refunds so far, are these refunds in relation to recent payments on unpaid loans now written off or has anyone had interest refunded on loans fully paid from years ago would not have been approved based on what we know now. Interested to know If wonga have paid back interest on any historic fully paid loans that would not/should not have been approved.

    Thanks

I don't believe they are refunding interest and charges on historical loans that have been paid off, certainly not loans that are a year or more old.

My refund was for a payment I made on the day the email was sent out, which said not to make any more payments. I emailed them asking if it was going to be refunded as the email said and I got a phone call to confirm it would. It's taken 2 weeks but I've finally got it.

I can now put this all behind me and start afresh. Having this loan written off is going to massively help me financially.

Wondering when this will all be resolved on the credit report.
Mine still shows as outstanding- not ideal.

I have a few Wonga loans from 2011 (when I was a idiot) and I am wondering if Wonga would be kind enough to wipe these off my report too? I repaid on-time and would feel a little hard done by if they wipe outstanding money and the report for that one, but not the positive use of their service that is also effecting my report as they are " Payday Loans "

Id sooner pay back the full amount they say I owe them and have a completely clean account than them wipe some outstanding amount and leave loads of "Satisfied" accounts on my file.
