You have to realise that some people are quiete squeamish. Finding something like that in their food will put them off the whole meal.

Some of you can just dismiss something like this, others struggle.

I don't think feeling squeamish and missing a meal would do anyone any harm.

Plastic wouldn't make someone squeamish. If it didn't they wouldn't be able to eat most of the products and foodstuffs we buy in day to day life.

I find the figure of £25 absolutely disproportionate for FINDING a piece of plastic - there was zero danger because it was found.

You don't get much, and rightly so, for coulda woulda shoulda.

    That's just your opinion.

It's the fact of finding something foreign in your food. Where has the plastic been, that's the scary bit.

I for one dont think it is scary.

You think you deserve £25 because you are scared?

Not me personally, but a lot of people would be.

You never know that piece of plastic could have come from a toilet brush.

so what if it did? it didnt cause any harm
  • I agree it's unfortunate finding a foreign body in a food product but in the scheme of things it's no big deal. Move on from it accept some small recompense from the retailer as goodwill if they have offered. Far more terrible things happening in this world.

would you say the same if i.e. your child would choke on a sharp piece of plastic like that?

If your aunt had balls she'd be able to marry herself.

Your opinion typically on here isn't agreed with though, my thanked ratio is way higher than yours and that's saying something. Wanting £25 is a joke!

What? Do you think they have toilets suspended above a factory ceiling? Come on, your just making things up now to try and justify your completely inappropriate compensation amount.
