foreign body in tiger bread roll from one of the supermarkets

How much compensation were you hoping for ?
Sorry but the sensible and non drama lama approach would be to speak to the manager at the supermarket.
Well if you can read the question was not about any compensation or anything like that. Was just thinking about putting in on Facebook, but then started thinking if naming and shaming is actually within law. That was my only question which no one really focused on...0 -
Thread title is misleading 'foreign body in tiger bread roll'. I was expecting to read you had found a dead Italian or something.

You don't need to warn others. This plastic fell into your loaf of bread, and you found it - there is unlikely to be lots of plastic just waiting to fall into all the other loaves of bread produced by the same company.
However, I have always written letters in the past to various companies regarding foreign bodies found in items of food. This is what helps prevent these things happening to others, in case there is a fault during the manufacturing process. Not Rachmaninov

A nice letter to the supermarket would likely get you a goodwill gesture of something like a £10 voucher with the supermarket being able to look into how this plastic got there. Everyone a winner.0

I think you ought to get a Facebook campaign going to get people to go in to all of the company's stores to rip apart all the tiger bread rolls and inspect them just in case there is piece of plastic in another one.
This will need to be kept up until the bakery can give cast-iron assurances that the machinery has been totally removed and replaced with brand new kit that will be inspected every 15 mins to ensure that no bits have fallen off. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Ok, lets try again...

I found a piece of plastic in a bread roll from one of the supermarket. I was thinking of putting in on Facebook just for fun so others can have a laugh (obviously is not serious so some people could find it funny). But then I started thinking if I can legally name a company whilst doing that. Is it or is it not?0 -

Yes, if it's true then you can post what you like (within reason).0
