Hi,
just a general question. Today i found sharp piece of plastic in bread roll from one of the leading supermarket. I will complain to them in a minute but i was thinking if I can share it on my Facebook profile to warn others? Or could the supermarket take action against me for damaging their "good" name. Is naming and shaming legal as such?
I know it might be silly question, but hope someone can answer confidently. Thanks.

would you say the same if i.e. your child would choke on a sharp piece of plastic like that?0 -
Warn others of what, a one in 50 million chance, and yes go public and you could never prove it was actually true they could very well take legal action.
Find you 15 minutes on something worth while.

How much compensation were you hoping for ?
Sorry but the sensible and non drama lama approach would be to speak to the manager at the supermarket.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Do you think people need to be warned that in high volume manufacturing there is a risk, a fairly small one, that sometimes a small foreign object might fall into the process and remain undetected? No, I'm pretty sure that most people know that already.
Ask the store manager for he money back on your purchase, and they might throw in a gift voucher too. Aside from that, move on.
Most kids would spit it out anyway. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I would sue the supermarket!
A piece of plastic indeed.
Was this in place of the tiger that the roll should have been made with?;)0 -
