once again you come out with negatives after so many people have ordered and been happy with there experiences your comments on the thread you highlight were equally unhelpful ,i hope everybody reads through that thread because despite my offers to help various people on that thread despite one being only 10 miles from me and equal distance to Rockdoor factory

TBWF. I did indeed read your thread and you appeared to be extremely helpful - shame noone took you up on that offer of help. Here's hoping I don't need any help and my south facing Newark stays true!

Thanks for all the advice. Valuedoors are coming round next week to do a quote for a Rockdoor. Also got someone giving me a quote for a doorstop door this evening, and got Yaledoors to consider as well.

I suggest they are OK - I have one, which cost IIRR around £490 delivered ready for fitting. So they are lowish cost and readily available. I do not rate the door as brilliant - one has to get a sense of perspective - it is only a door, just like a window is only a window.

Composite doors are a current growth market, give it a few years and there will be another "must have" front door when the defects of composite doors have been highlighted. This is just the way things go -composite doors were being sold 25 years ago, then went out of fashion, but are now are back in fashion.

My only post was to link to another thread. I don't see widening the debate as at all negative, although someone with a vested interest might.

If you'd bothered to read this thread you'd have realised the OP had already read the linked thread prior to my posting the link. Other readers may also find it useful.

Make your mind up. First you criticise because you feel posting a link was negative and unhelpful and then you hope everybody reads it? You seem confused. three people have ordered and are happy and you then throw negative doubts in there mind how good do they feel

Yes i do hope they read that thread because there is a common theme on there and that is that Rockdoor are sorting there problems out by replacing doors and i made efforts to help people AND NON of them have responded many of the complainants have posted less than 7 times all though nothing wrong with that if they have found the reason to complain why not contact me when i offer help something you fail to understand , oh and most people seek an opinion BEFORE they order not negatives after .YES I DO INSTALL ROCKDOORS

yes they are ok the reason installers are pushing them is because Doorstop offer them free if not delivered in three days for the installer its a no brainer tell the customer 7-14 days order straight awaywith doorstop if it doesnt come in 3 days door to installer is free and the customer is non the wiser
