A couple more UUs to report:
I finished up a bottle of Dove summer moisturiser, there was a lot more in there than I thought so I ended up slapping on loads!
Also shampoo and conditioner both used up, sure enough I found some replacements lurking in the cabinet, along with a few other things to finish.
I chucked out a couple of things too, an old Cowshed moisturiser that had separated, ugh! And another body lotion that didn't smell like it used to.
There's a whole box full of old suntan lotion etc that I need to go through, I'm sure most of it is destined for the bin.
I'm slowly working my way through the cabinet of delights!0 -
Hi ladies,
One UU here:
Elizabeth Arden visible brilliance body lotion - WNBA - was ok but the consistency was more a thin milk lotion and I prefer a thicker cream and the smell wasn't my favourite. Did the job post-shower but won't be repurchasing.
Had a mad fortnight, had dental surgery to remove 2 buried canines a week last Monday which was traumatic during and post surgery when I couldn't eat or swallow properly for days!
Then had a big training course all last week to prepare me for my new role when the building society I work for integrates with another.
Then tomorrow I'm having my brace fitted...so I probably won't be able to eat again for a few days!
I had a steak dinner tonight to make the most:)
So all in all it's been a bit mad...but on the up side i've hardly spent any money because i've not had the time or inclination but i've not used up many products either as pampering has been the last thing on my mind.
Has anyone else had a brace later than in their teens on the thread? (I'm 27)
Only people i know who have had a brace did so in their teens and I don't know if the experience would be much different?
I'm nervous but we'll see how it goes!0 -
Awww that's lovely Kadison, he's thinking about the long term too. I didn't think my BF would ever ask but he did in the end when he was ready...its our five year anniversary next month and we are getting married next year but hopefully you won't have to wait so long:) I guess I only waited 4 years for him to ask:D
UU Lush Love Lettuce face mask. Really liked this, doesnt beat my brazened honey but good alternative when its sold out as it often is:(
Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Meant to declare some IN's today:
Ruth Crilly Co-Lab dry shampoo - heard good things about this and it smells lovely.
Tresemme Keratin Smooth Hair Masque - conditioner is the last thing I need in my stash, but I saw the back of my hair in a mirror today and it looked a little parched and dry, so needed something a little more intensive.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -

I am spending Christmas with him and his parents in either Aberdeen or somewhere near Devon (depends whether they've sold their house but personally I LOVE the idea of Christmas in Scotland), and I'm hoping for an invitation to move in with him. We'd have been together 8 months by then so here's hoping......I was wondering if the idea might have been forthcoming after this holiday but I think that was expecting too much, he's not THAT fast moving lol!

Morning everyone! Have a couple of UU's to report after a weekend away:
Beauty Protect shampoo - this was a sample in a birchbox. Love the scent but it didn't really do anything for my hair
Beauty Protect conditioner - Ditto above.
Garnier Oil Blend body lotion - this was a sample sachet. Loved the scent but it's not as good as my aveeno moisturising creamy oil (and the sweet almond scent with that is to die for!)
Repainted my nails last night with OPI Ever Month is Oktoberfest and have already had a few comments at work about it.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Ooh, I love Opi's Oktoberfest, one of my favourite colours ever!
In fact I'm going to dig it out now and wear it, just what I need to cheer me up on a dull day.0 -

Oh you'll have to let us know how it goes. I'm in a similar boat actually. I'm 28 and had braces when I was younger but my teeth shifted back. I saw the dentist for an orthodontic assessment the other week and he says my overbite is bad enough to get treatment on the NHS, so I am now waiting for a referral (who knows how long that will take!)
My step mum had braces as an adult and is so happy with the results, so I hope you are too!No more goo hoarding!

I have a uu - a sad one though
Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Body Souffle - this is heavenly. I got this in a set with the bath salts for half price, the salts were disappointing though so I'm not sure if I WBA as even at half price it is £15 for the set. I have replaced it with the Laura Mercier Creme Brulee set now which is even more gorgeous.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I too have that colour and had forgotten about it. Must dig it out soon (once I've worked through the 10 new ones though!). Think I'll repaint my finger nails tonight and my toes too. I have not painted my toe nails since I had Shellac gel put on for my hols (shamefully, I've been wearing this for 2 months! and they are now desperate to be redone).
Do have a small UU in the form of a sachet of L'Occitane Ultra Rich body lotion. Very nice stuff.
Did anyone get anywhere with complaints to L'Occitane re: free gifts. Both my friends at work received their emails but sadly the one I was sending to MrM has not arrived as I put an old email address on it. Wonder if it's worth being cheeky and getting in touch?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
