Morning everyone, have a few UU to report:
- Dove intensive hair shot x 2: Not too sure on the exact name but these are like mini treatment conditioners that you put on your hair for 60 seconds and then rinse out. I was quite impressed as I have woken up with lovely curls this morning and not so much frizz. I got these free in a gift bag at the wedding show earlier in the year, so hoping I might get some more when I go on Saturday. Otherwise I might have to try and find them in the stores.
- Honey and Silk Hair Mask: this was from a BB and I wasn't wowed by it to be honest.
I'm going to stay with a friend at the weekend so I've packed as many mini's and samples as I can so hopefully I'll have a UU or 2 to report on Monday! Hope you all have a good weekend.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Hi everyone, it's raining again:eek::eek: I feel really shattered and think it may be because I have a cold coming, not happy bunny as I am on hols next week (Pembrokeshire in the rain anyone? I have plenty of warm and waterproof clothes from my "walking holiday days, so not too fussed, and excuse for lots of tea and cakes or hot chocolate:))
My PP list now looks like this:-
15ml Eyesilix
30gm Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm UU 07.10.14
250ml SBC Facial Exfoliating Gel
Bodyography Lipstick and Lip gloss TA 05.10.14
250ml Gatineau Melatogenine Cream Cleanser
150ml Superdrug Naturally Radiant HC Cleanser
50ml LE Gentle Face Exfoliator
23ml Akin Rosehip Oil
60ml Bio Oil
7ml Clinique Moisture Surge Extra UU 09.10.14
3ml Gatineau Melatogenine Youth Serum UU 09.10.14
7.5ml Perricone No Foundation Foundation UU 08.10.14
Sore face again, so that may slow down use of some of the items on the list:(, but I discovered yesterday that Emma Hardie Moringa Balm does not sting and put on as a balm actually soothes:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hi all.
I have a uu
Clarins Relax Bath & Shower Concentrate - this was a mini GWP size, I used half as shower gel and half as bubble bath, it smells great and does both jobs well. WBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hooray a UU! One of the shower gels that DS got me at Christmas, Imperial Leather Oriental Calm Cherry Blossom and Vanilla Bean.
WIBA? Yes, lashings of lovely moisturising lather and a really pleasant scent. Not so thick that it took ages to flow out of the bottle either. On to the last of the Christmas present shower stuff now, an OS Honey and Shea Butter shower cream.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hi ladies.
Am feeling the need to buy something and I don't know why! Maybe it's cos Christmas is coming and all the gift sets are appearing! Must stay strong!
Did notice today though that our bottle of L'occitane hand wash is running low and I don't have any replacements. MrM also got a code from them for a free gift (the email I set up to be sent to him never arrived - or so he says!!) hence also why I feel the need to order something.
I do have three body washes that are sort of spluttering though. Have a huge bottle of Soap & Glory Sugar Crush, L'Occitane Cherry Blossom hand wash (which I suppose I should now keep aside in case we run out of the Verbena one on the hand basin) and a tube of Clinique Facial Liquid Soap which was really drying on my face so have started to use as a shower gel.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

An OUT this afternoon!
I don't know if there is an acronym for this... managed to sell another unused nail polish that doesn't suit me. 1 nail polish down and £9.99 after p&p into my piggy bank!0 -
Some more UUs and TAs for me :j
Dream Matte Mousse make up by Maybelline: Have to throw it out since it was open for too long and gave me a huge breakout. But I still have another jar of it
SebaMed cleansing foam: WDBA since it's my HG. It's medical skincare and the only thing working for me
Gilette Shaving Foam: WBA since you can always use it.weight loss journey: 3 KG / 8 KG
declutter challenge: 25 / 25 ✅ 66/100
english is not my first language, sorry for any misspellings0 -
Two UUs:
Rosewater
Tresemme Instant refresh dry shampoo - WNB? Left too many white stains on my dark hair and didn't freshen hair enough.
Ins: Boots Rosewater & Glycerin0 -
Evening ladies, here are the use ups from my latest Project Pan list. Kadus Imunal Sebo Control Shampoo 250ml - this was a TK Maxx bargain several years ago and I was a bit sad to see it go although it still didn't sort out my greasy hair. I would possibly buy it again if I came across it, but I don't think they make this particular variant any more.
I finished the last couple of Sanctuary Spa Deep Cleansing Wipes x 25. I wouldn't buy these again as they didn't agree with my skin and made it break out. I originally had three more packs of these from a Boots glitch some time ago but I returned and exchanged the other packs at the time as I knew I wouldn't use them.
Nivea Hand Essential Moisturising Lotion sachet 3ml - fairly old and didn't do much. It was far too runny and not nourishing enough.
Boots Natural Collection Rosemary and Witch Hazel Face Mask sachet 10ml - good value as it lasted two full applications. Nothing special though and I probably won't buy it again as I rarely use face masks and I still have lots of other varieties in the stash.
The Aussie conditioner is spluttering and the Timotei shampoo is steadily going down so hopefully there will be some more use ups soon.
I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow morning so hopefully that will give me a little boost. It's getting so tangled at the moment and looks like a birch broom in a fit!
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

I've been looking at the Boots website. Does anyone else look at the gifts and automatically halve the price thinking of the boxing day sale? Not sure there's all that much I'm tempted by this time round...
re thinking ahead to sales I bought a dress from white stuff from their new catalogue(admittedly went through tcb and had a 20% coupon)BUT was well annoyed when a month after buying it and not having even worn it they put it in the mid season sale(never used to have sales this time of year!) at 50% off!!!!surely they must know how this annoys people
on a brighter note I found out I will become a great aunt in May 2015......makes me sound really old LOL0
