Poor you Fizz Whizz, how maddening!

Welcome newthrift, and don't feel you have to pull your list together before you can join in :)

I have a couple of UUs from the past few days:

3/243. Sanctuary Body Butter 100ml - HG and WBA but lots still stashed.

4/244. S&G Foam Call 500ml - WBA, lovely lather and a nice zingy scent - but yes, you guessed it, more stashed!

I'm struggling to keep up with the thread, life is pretty hectic at the moment, so hope all are well. Not expecting many UUs this month as pampering has fallen by the wayside thanks to general busyness and the fact that our bathroom is STILL out of action - and likely to be so for the rest of the month now  On the plus side, having all of my bathroom clutter on show for such a long time is making the stash ever less desirable, so I'm really unlikely to have any bought INs for the foreseeable!

  • Oh god Fizzwhizz that's incredibly irritating, especially after you SAW her do it! The cheek of some people.

Plugging away at my creams & lipbalms and trying to get in the habit of wearing lipstick more often because some of mine are getting seriously old.
Trying to resist the urge to buy more Mac products. I may have to make an order soon if my no 17 blush completely runs out. I never know how to get the edges of the pan, it's irritating me, especially because they've (hopefully only temporarily) discontinued their proper blushers which were great.

Hi everyone, thanks Sundaysgirl for the new thread, welcome to the new gals and sorry to hear of any troubles and illnesses - hope everyone gets sorted soon.

No wonder my stash doesn't go down much with only one little UU Clarins Bright Plus Gentle Brightening Exfoliator 50ml which was a major purchasing mistake. I was 'persuaded' to buy this a long while ago by an over zealous sales assistant, when I was actually trying to get hold of the Gentle Brightening Toner  It was mega expensive for what was a perfectly ordinary and small face scrubby cleanser. I won't be buying again

One IN L'Oreal Serie Expert Silver Toning Shampoo which I have been wanting to try for a while.

Thank you for the get well soon wishes trudi, maddiemay, Dolly and Kiwisaver :A

I'm gradually improving :) Some dips/crashes are unavoidable (just what the M.E. does) but this one was triggered by stress that had built up. That's quite rare for me and I must remember to be patient, however boring that may be!

maddiemay - your poor thumb! Is your nail hanging on ok? I hope so. I also hope that you've had your Vit B12 jab by now?

VALM - if you spot Ollie the owl & the wax tarts reappearing on QVC please could you let me know? (QVC is a bit of a mystery to me :rotfl:) I should have bought him and then asked for it to be put away as a Christmas present but I dithered. It says no longer available on QVC and he's out of stock on Yankee Direct. Like you, I would prefer to buy him with the wax tarts as it's a better deal :) I'm sure you'll enjoy him even more as we head into Autumn/Winter. :D

Sundaysgirl - I hope your bathroom is finished asap :)

FizzWhizz - GRRRRR!! to the awful woman  How annoying...

I have two UUs, both of which I'm sad to see go.

REN Rosa Centifolia Express Make Up Remover (sample - 50ml?) - WMBA. This was part of a set and it was lovely to use. It took make up off really effectively and left my skin soft and matte. It was great for my eye make up as well (I don't use waterproof mascara) and was nice and fast - good for lazy days. It's £13 for 150ml but REN often has good offers...(Must use other cleansers first! :rotfl:)

Lily-Flame Vanilla and Honey candle - WDBA. This is soooooo sweet (apparently more honeyish than vanilla) but I love it :D Very sad to see it finished but it's top of my list to rebuy once I'm through all (or a lot) of my candles. Strong scent and lasted much longer than the 35 hours they say.

    That's all for now :)

    Hello Everyone.

Firstly, thanks for this thread, I have been avoiding it for some time but decided to face the music and take a look. A few days ago, I had a look through the September thread and was shocked at some of your lists.

I have to admit I did believe that there was no way my list could be as bad so I decided to take the inspiration from you all. I have now written out my list and I am so surprised at everything I do have, including all the things I know I am not going to use.

The great thing is, I don't think there is very much I will need to buy before Christmas. Even my stash of shower gel should last.

Keep up the good work! If I feel my resolve slipping, I will be thinking of this thread.

Good to see you:), why don't you drop by and join in when you have a moment, we are a friendly bunch and you will always we welcome:D

Willowbee - injection done this morning :j:j (not literally jumping as it will take a few days:() Lovely practice Sister also said that she can do some blood tests for me (haven't requested them for a long time:o) without me having to see one of the GP's, I don't think there is any urgency so all scheduled for 8 weeks when next treatment done. Thumb is a little tender, but I can just manage to fasten my bra! I don't think I will loose the nail immediately, but will have to see as it grows out what damage has happened to the nail bed.

So pleased you are feeling able to join in again:D

I too like the Owl burner, I couldn't order it at the time as would have been no-one here to take delivery, this is a good thing sometimes as it has stopped me from buying the Nails Inc TSV too:rotfl:

Sundaysgirl, I hope that the bathroom is sorted out for you soon.

feelunique.com have a 15% code on benefit which is running today and tomorrow. Don't know if the advent calendar is on there but the code is : BEAUTY15 if this is helpful. Bare Minerals are also on this offer too.

Oh dear:eek: I'm not sure if I should thank you or not for this VALM;)
I do like Benefit, this is going to be hard to resist as there's not often money off on them.

Sundaysgirl we had our bathroom done fairly recently and to be fair it was a nightmare but will definitely be worth it when done. A beautiful bathroom is one of the nicest things! Especially when you get to display all your lovely toiletries in it!

FizzWhizz What a horrible woman! I can't believe people can be so flippant, i wouldn't dream of denying it:mad: Hope it works out ok, although insurance is never simple is it?!

UU a sachet of Jurlique eye cream, was good as the sachet lasted ages (as you find with eye cream) as you don't need to use much so very good for a freebie! Also had a sachet of some l'oreal moisturiser, can't remember its name but the sachet was dark red and black. Smelt lovely i must admit but wouldn't do anything for my red cheeks so i wouldn't buy it for that reason.
Also UU an Elizabeth Arden radiant skin lotion - already have another one to UU so wouldn't buy at the moment but it's nice for days when tinted moisturiser/foundation isn't necessary but you want a bit of a glow, looks like you've just walked out of a facial when you've got it on. Not sure if it's discontinued as i found it in a discount beauty shop.

Also had an IN of a Hotel Chocolat body lotion which smells lovely but can be quite overpowering if you slap it on everywhere so i'm just putting it on arms and top half and fragrance free lotion on legs at the moment.

    xx
  • Morning everyone! I too visited Lush this weekend and bought my Christmas present to myself: 250g bottles of Hot Toddy, So White and Rose Jam. Really wanted to get some of the egg nog soap too as it smelt amazing but will wait till it's a bit closer to Christmas. I'm quite glad we don't have a bath in our current flat because otherwise I would be all over the rest of the stuff!

SAME :D definitely limits the lush hauls! :j

  • Looked through the Lush website to see if I could add to my Birthday list and you know what nothing caught my eye, I'll wait for the Christmas sale and see if there's anything half price I like the look of...progress!

    Two UUs here:
    E45 Moisturising Lotion
    Right Guard Total Defence 5
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
