Morning!
Just been hanging out the washing (forecast is a turn in the weather here tonight) and nice NDN was cutting back an overhanging shrub, I laughed and said "watch out for the tree preservation order" - a bit of a standing joke since earlier in the year when the planning applicant for a travellers site started lopping all the trees down at the bottom of the hill. Anyway, the upshot is, he popped over the fence and cut it back from my side too :T
Downstairs loo and floor been cleaned before school run, but I haven't done the sink yet. DS had been in there so I had to prioritise
Just having a :coffee: then will take DD to gymnastics. Then I need to find the book for the gas fire as *somebody* knocked the "coals" and I can't figure out how they go back in. That *somebody* is denying all knowledge although her little fingers were black and there is soot all over her blankie :rotfl: Little Moo.
Got to school a bit early so found a bench and DS sat on my lap for ages, just having a cuddle. DD was rather jealous but since she has me to herself for two days a week, I indulged him. I don't suppose he will sit on my lap outside school for a great deal longer...
Also need to go shopping - hardly picked up much yesterday as DD wanted her pushchair so we just grabbed the essentials in a basket. I'm sure we only had a Mr S delivery on Sunday... But the fridge is bare!
On the other hand, I have a freezer full of appleBossymoo

Lol.. Dot was just scratting at her head so I asked to have a bug check and she just stood and drooled because she just loved it.. I asked 'do you like this?' so she slurped up the drool and in a half asleep voice just said 'yes' ... at least I know how to make her sit still for 10 seconds.

Two hours' me time should be on the list every week! - it's less than 20 min per day, and we all deserve that

Afternoon all
Drs done and my ankle is much better today. Popped to c0-0p up there which is bigger than my closest. Picked up the stuff to do a stew for tea, and a few other bits we needed so I could use a voucherI'm hoping I haven't missed the post again as I'm still waiting for a delivery which should have been here last Thursday!
Just having some lunch then I'm going to tackle the ironing pile. Thats my priority. I'm sick of looking at it. Any other flying will be a bonus, but DD has said as long as she has no homework she'll help me tonight when she gets home.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I'm waiting for a delivery too! Hoping it'll be today but guessing not - think postie has usually been by now.
Just having some soup after putting away the shopping and sorting lunch for DD. Also put on a whites wash to get her blankie done in time for bed
Casserole veg is in slow cooker, I might leave as it is rather than adding meat. Unless I do it with corned beef when the veg is tender.
Bedding is blowing nicely in the sunshine!Bossymoo
