re the challenges, i honestly think it helps me just to type on here that im planning to do something it sort of give me more incentive once ive told you all im planning to get something done. its like a virtual kick up the behind and i try to do more to complete it just because ive made that public commitment.
blanket for friend finished last night and lace edge sewn on, little yellow duck sewn together this morning and it will be released somewhere in the hospital today with its little label explaining what its all about. hopefully someone who needs cheering up will find it. bag of 21 knitted prem baby hats can also be dropped off as we are in the same reception as the baby unit. man from freecycle has said he'll pop round at some point today and take the last of the small chopped wood from the conifers
must dash as wm has just finished and i want to get that load hung out before i nip round mils to go hospital, hoping to make it back before work but have told them ill go in even if im late.
hugs good wishes, positive vibes sticks and spoons where needed.SPC~12 ot 124

AARRGGHH..Just had a blazing row with my mum...she is so selfish and will never admit she is in the wrong..so much so that she is upsetting other members of the family as well as me...and breathe.....I actually asked her to leave..(she only lives 2 doors away so not as bad as it sounds)
Today I have helped DS2 to sort through his wardrobe so loads more for CS...tons in wash basket,it had better stay tidy after all this.
Will get them to polish in there ,it was hoovered yesterday,I need to do some ironing, put away clothes on my bed and do at least some of the bathroom.
DD2 has taken 2 more bags to CS and is picking up some bits of shopping I need, couldnt manage that today.
DD1 is going to tidy her room:)
Tea sorted, they all want pizza so thats easy, just me to sort as I dont like Pizza
Can I join the October Challenge please ?
If so I pledge to totally clear out everything I will not wear again from both my wardrobes and arrange anything left tidily.Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies

Unanticipated dramatic start to day, with DD's best friend on doorstep in tears as someone hit her car on her drive to work this morning. Spent a while calming and supporting, then gave her lift to work.
All I have done so far is the online shop.
All kids are adults, so they can do their own rooms. I am hoping to substitute the porch and front of house and garage, which really needs clearing. Loads of stuff that was removed from garage, and needs to go to tip, and general sweeping up and preening. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Many thanks for the challenge co-ordination work Ionafan, sorry to hear that you're having a tough time at the moment.
struggling a bit this week, but managing to stay on top of dailies, which is kind of progress at least! Upstairs relatively tidy, but landing floordrobe has reappearedJust need to clear that and drag hoover upstairs and I can knock off a few of my planned jobs. Will postpone HHI until DH sorts through his shirts because I'm abit fed up of ironing ones that he doesn't like/doesn't wear - I want them out of the house, especially as he's just ordered some new ones. I'm going to try to commit to creating a habit of putting the washing away daily so the landing of disaster can be kept at bay.
8+ hours of the paid stuff today so probably won't get much done later.0 -
Hugs natty we are with you in spirit, if not in person xxx
Well I've made a start in my challenge lol down 0.8 haha so 10% of the way there!
Not done a jot except set DW going, collected prescription (why have they only given me 4wks worth and no repeat option - what a waste of time - but receptionist has put it in the "to do" box to sort properly next time) and went shopping.
Happily I found some longer length tshirt nighties in the simply be shop on their sale rail for £5 each - I'd toyed with ordering from the website but didn't want anything else, so really pleased to find these! Did not get the boots I wanted though, had not realised they were in the teen section and only up to size 5all the adult ones had ridiculously high heels...
We've just finished lunch so will wipe round and go check on my list!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
I'm not totally taking in what has happened to whom just now, so can I once again leave a big pile of (((HUGS))) sticks and spoons, and you help yourselves as needed?
Better-fingers vibes for Kazwookie and Miss Moo.
Dusty it sounds like Woody could use some more healing - on it's way.
Mr LW took his last anti-flybotic tablet at 12:00 today; I think he's looking forward to the bottle of Real Ale that he's been virtuously leaving alone while he was taking them.:D
I'm all nervous and off-kilter again - Mr LW called me to say the Clinic (the one dealt with via his works health policy, which I'm also on) called him; apparently the GP wrote directly to them, instead of doing the Open Referral I'd actually asked for; anyways, the bottom line is I get to see a Dr there about my wrists at 17:50 on Friday 10th October. *gulp* I know it's what I need to do, but I'm still extremely nervous. I just hope to goodness they can actually do something; even if it means surgery. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
