Thank you little Puzz!!
Yes.....the net effect is something like Sainsbob's paid for the pearlies!!
Whilst I have given a little history on each debt to help me reflect on all that happened and what I did in the past, the debts actually have no personality or story.......they're just money owed.......negative blobs to be cleaned up and cleared out. I say that as you set my 'moral compass' spinning then for a moment.
I could never initiate such a 'deal' knowingly. Its just the way it worked out from a time when I said 'yes' to everything and simply got in over my head!!
I know you know that anyway little Puzz but just in case anybody doesn't

Yay!!! Good riddance, and I so, so understand about needing a quick solution for the teeth - what we will do for our children with no thought to the consequences for our finances eh?! Go you, you cc beating genius!
DM
You've been quiet for a while DM!!
I was keeping my head down and paying my Council Tax
I don't think anybody will ever thank me for anything now or after I'm dead BUT I can say that a large, large part of my indebtedness is the result of yielding to the requests of others. This is not their fault....it is my faultI should have kept control particularly as I was educated and arithmetic enough so to do.....BUT as I said last year in my opening gambit.......'soft touch'
!! Ha!!!
I know I am talking to a lot of Mum's here and they will know even better than me - DM - you get my point completely....thanks
The blokes and dads are mostly in a golf or football haze adopting an approach of minimal sense and feeling!!

Thanks INOD!!
I keep saying I want to talk about mortgage OP's and indeed pensions but I just end up chatting!! I do want to talk about this and bore everybody.
You have given me this message before INOD and whilst we post odd messages on here we maybe don't always give or get the full picture!!
Nothing would make me happier than to carry on debt busting like this but there is no choice......I absolutely have to turn my attention to mortgage / housing etc whether the moral compass swings or not
Thanks again for all of your good wishes.

Well done Broggers :T:T whilst I'm late to post, I've been reading and following your p&f's. Excellent to see great progress.
The pearlies are a tricky purchase... since I too had private orthodentic treatment to straighten mine and it made a huge difference to my confidence and smile. From thisto this
. And my parents paid for mine too for which I am forever grateful for - DD owes you bigtime on that one
Happy weekend and I'm looking forward to your posts on the mortgage and pension - get to it man :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:
