I 'humped' on Tuesday this week :) !! I mean to say that was the middle of my week and I am on leave today :)

A day out with the 'old boys,' a few of these from my school days and we are planning to perhaps have a mild shandy amongst the glasses of tizer and lemonade ;)

Its funny how knowing I have a day out at the end of the week has made me a little 'MSE-careless' this week. I suppose its only a few quid I have overspent and it has all been on things to eat :o Choccies, crisps and not bothering to prepare a packed lunch when on the road but buy stuff when I am out. I haven't been near a chip shop :) !! I'd would have liked to though :o !!

Debtwise I am in limbo and have in a fairly random manner been making offers and I will post details of these when finalised in case that helps anybody. I don't think it is right to give a run down of everything whilst under negotiation. Not terribly British and you don't know if the predators are watching!

I've got to iron my jeans, clean my shoes and do a few family chores first so have a good day everybody and take heart - weekend is on the way!! (its Vimto in those glasses!)

    Hi Brogden
Nice to see you back as I haven't seen your posts for a few days. It's that dratted work I suppose. Such a time user-upper!
How are the envelopes working? If you've overspent does that mean you've been sneakily "borrowing" from future days' envelopes?
    GL with the f&fs

    Enjoy your day off.

    Thanks Verb :)

I didn't steal from future days' envelopes for my lunches, choccies or crisps :rotfl:!! I did a little yesterday to make sure I was not embarrassed in the rounds of tizers and lemonades though so I must concentrate now on a 'budgetary undershoot' for the weekend to compensate!

Got absolutely SOAKED walking home from the station :( !! Went straight to bed :) !!

I am not the most popular person here at the moment. In the half light, carrying the cat basket I have just trod on the cat's tail with my right foot, pinning her to the floor while my left foot kicked her in the ribs. Fortunately I was wearing my slippers. She has now asked for second helpings of her fishy breakfast so I thought I had better give it to her regardless of her weight problem to make amends :(.

The best thing about pets is the love an trust. They forgive you for anything and never have the funnies with you. We used to have a dog and he was just the same :)

    Right.......on the financials:-

    - Three new spreadsheets - Gas, Electricity and Water consumption. Still in germinal stages and being tested. As we are Eon customers I can't complete the function on the gas one as they were inconsiderate enough to reduce their prices and I don't know how this works . The electricity one appears to be working but I need to iron out some wrinkles on all in time to 'launch' and get serious at 1st Feb.

    - Had a couple of mega-cheeky settlement offers rejected, one a second offer. I am doing too much too quickly on all of this and I am currently considering paying all of the next year's council tax in one go to free up additional clout in the budget to hit some predators on 'instalments.' This is not as mad as it sounds as I am finding a repeating pattern that if a reduced settlement is agreed it is OK to pay over three months. That could keep me out of mischief for a year but my heart still aches that in doing that I would not be doing all I can for the mortgage. :(

    - Following my Wonga complaint (last October ) a foreign lady rang me to apologise that Wonga had not so far given their final response. She advised they had so many ongoing complaints that they couldn't cope and were discussing the acceptability of their approach with the FCA. Time will tell - I am paying them nothing currently but that is agreed :)

    - Finally the envelopes reign supreme. Following a festive 'fall out' I am 'on the envelopes.' It has taken me a long time but I think I have found ' the love of my life' :happyhear:happyhear:happyhear:happyhear .....the one for me.....nobody makes me feel the way you do :A:blushing::blushing: !!!!

    Have a great day.

You don't get a sore head with Tizers Verb......a bit of wind maybe :o ....!

On the envelopes, I wonder if in 2008/9 we would have had the collapsing banks if they had used 'envelopes'.......big ones of course

They might have come in handy in Tesco's accounts department too :rotfl:!!

    Thank you Dragon :) !!

I am not a vocational 'Kitty Kicker' just in case anybody was wondering.

Our cat has forgotten all about it and is stalking the garden like a wild beast as there were sightings of a ginger predator. She hates ALL other cats without exception
