I'm with you all , cant wait till Tuesday !
Monday didn't like me much this week and I didn't like Monday much either !
Brogden you remind me of Mr PG in your comment over the weekend about the DD's taking so long to get ready. He cant understand why they cant shower , hair wash and be out of the door in five minutes like he can ! We do regularly remind him that he doesnt have hair to dry ( well not much anyway ), doesn't wear make up (well none that I know of ) and he cannot expect miracles. But miracles he continues to expect and I don't see him changing anytime soon !
Hope your Monday went well xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ah how intriguing Brogden. Does good results = bonus?

Morning, yes do tell...... good results on Monday?
I visited Mozzersons for the first time in ages on Sunday. I really like all their fresh food especially the fresh baked sausage rolls (ahem, not good for one's waistline I know!). We spent £141.00 on goodness knows what as DH was throwing items in the trolley left right and centre. He sees a shower gel at half price and will throw 4 in, 2 tubs of Christmas sweets for £7, puts 4 in.......I'm sure you will not be surprised to learn this plays havoc with my MSE delicate constitution.
At the checkout signed up for a temporary match and match & more card and already have 3330 points.Great, so this week (without DH) I will heading back to fill the trolley with nutritious but cheap items and not shower gel & sweets to add to my card. I shop regularly at Sainsbobs & Aldis but I'm jumping supermarket ship for now.
I hope Tuesday is a good one for you. "Brogden's Bin The Blighters" week is approaching.0 -

Hiya Pennysaving
I am reckoning that some people will do a bomb on Mozza's Match & More. We won't...except maybe on the diesel - I'm heading there in an hour or so! We have worked out a 'panel' of retailers and we go here for this, there for that etc. As a result I am pretty much instantly aware if Mozza's are trying it on.....and their tactics have been much more obvious than the other big supermarkets. The result of this 'pickyness' is a low points count but I can slap me bum in me jeans like the lady in the old Asda advert
I won't allow any bulk buying either  !! A while ago I had a good friend at work who had a year's supply of toilet rolls in his loft when he saw some unbelievable deal. Great.....but what if there are hard times ahead and no food on the table? You can have a munch on one of these love!! It wouldn't work with the DD's that's for sure :rotfl:!!!

Sorry Verbatim, I didn't mean to be an enigma  !!
Following some issues (entirely the fault of management) nearly a year ago, our team has been checked out, observed, scrutinised and its been hard work to put it mildly
Yesterday came the message 'the process is finished....good guys.....good work.....on you go.......we're focussing on some other poor burgers!!'
I'm sorry for the poor burgers and I hope they fare well like us
It helps with 'bonus' potentially but I'm just celebrating being allowed to stay in hell!! I've had plenty of years of it so I might aswell carry on (there's a Bob Dylan lyric in my head somewhere if I can think of it during the day.)

Thank goodness Monday is almost behind us and don't worry Brogden and ONOD you're not alone..............Tuesday it's almost here and it won't be long before TFIF!!!
Honestly Helena....I must confess to being a little shocked!!
TFIF? I had to ask around the more 'street aware' DD's to find out what that stood for:o !!
Thanks for you good wishes my dear.....I'm just saying a prayer before burning a gallon or two of Mozza's diesel :rotfl:!!
Speak soon!

I'm with you on shopping in numerous places and if I see a price change on my weekly shop (as they're all at it), then I won't buy and resort to checking mysupermarket.com to see where it's cheapest.
Any own/basic/value brand will do for most stuff here, but I do chase offers around the stores if it's something branded we use and will keep (B0ld 2 in1 is a good example) as they tend to follow one another.
Which reminds me, a Tuesday @ 7 is good for YS in Morries and haven't done that for a while. Hmm, might have to pop out soon
Hope Tuesday has been good to you. I always find it a bit of a non-descript day, but like Wednesdays for it's 'Hump Day' status, which makes teenage DS blush for some odd reason :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -

Hi Ali x
I know all about 'the hump' and I think of it as I ride over it each week (we're gettin' worse here!!)
I haven't used mysupermarket.com but I will have a look at it tonight. 'Own brands' are great and for things like tinned peas, beans and lots of other things I think. We're mad if we go for (what?) designer brands on everything?
Here's 'the rub.' Vegetarian products........DD's!! Quorn is so popular its unbelievable. I think my modest 'Match & More' points are probably from this and 2 or 3p on you know....beans and things like that. Morrison's want to attract the 'blind shopper' who puts everything in their trolley.......who wouldn't want that sort of customer? Having said all of that, if I take account of the fuel points there seems to be little doubt that Match & More is still the best loyalty card for this household! I have pretty much parked Nectar and with Tesco......I only earn points because of the Eon deal.
At the moment I can't see Tesco being of the slightest interest to us......apparently a few other people think the same thing :rotfl:!!
Sorry Ali......what is YS....?
Speak soon,
Brogden x0
