And, unless Ive misread, we don't know if the accident went in the accident book or not do we? Only confirmation with the site management would be able to confirm that which I haven't seen that the OP has confirmed.0

Erm.. I expect the name and the address of the op are supposed to be part of the report..And, unless Ive misread, we don't know if the accident went in the accident book or not do we? Subject data access request
For which the CCTV laws are quite clear, the data handler can refuse you footage if third parties are present.
The OP wanted footage to see if the person who was dripping water over the affected area had been there for some time. Such footage can rightfully be refused.
A DSAR will not overrule this.0 -
Quit before you embarrass yourself further.
The DPA and CCTv laws are quite clear, they can refuse you CCTV footage if it shows a third party. If the OP wishes to raise the complaint with the police then the police can see the full footage. The OP cannot force them to display third party cctv footage and certainly not force them the cost of pixelating any third parties...
No you are wrong. For the cost of £ 10 the op could make a data access request. The police have nothing to do with it.
Who's talking third party.you?
Anyway it's the hse -edit health and safety executive -who could request it but quite honestly it's not relevant0 -
What is "hsa"0

Umm no, there actually is no need for the full name and address of accidents to be logged in the sites accident book unless they are reportable under RIDDOR. As the accident did not involve an employee , and it was "minor" then it does not fall under RIDDOR to my knowledge.0
