WARNING: If you are entering comps on the day or even the day before they end you run the risk that perhaps the comp has closed a little early & your entry won't be counted. Another thing to bear in mind is that the Board Guides volunteer hours of their time to keep these boards clear & running smoothly so sometimes comps which are ending today or perhaps tomorrow (in rare cases) may be moved to Game Over a little early - this is a task which has to fit around their real lives & also when they have some spare 'online' time.
SUGGESTION: If you really want to only enter comps right when they are ending then I strongly suggest you get a couple of days ahead of yourself to avoid the above.

just occasionally I have a blip, apologies for being human!

I normally do game over on a daily basis as well as tidy up all comps with wrong titles (even though I actually have a life too) as I like the board to be tidy and easy to use, but reading someone actually swearing about me does make me wonder why

it is a volunteer post and this is a comps board not life and death

a pm to let me know would be far nicer than a public thread! and quicker to sort out too, they are all back on the main board now

People aren't allowed to disagree at this when it's happened quite a bit before? Maybe take a break yourself if it's causing distress...

it's the actual swearing I reported, this is a family site after all

3 times since I've been doing them, average of one in every 365 days

if I need to take a break, I'll just follow BG guidance, which states we shouldn't worry if we can't get on here for a few days at a time
