Good morning
Have used the last of pennies in overdraft to pay of 90% of Sains CC, the outstanding balance to take forward to next month now is £17.69. It was for hoss bits already purchased for next month so in budget. Hopefullly should be able to be under budget next month.
It means am back to square one with my overdraft but glad keeping on top of all the other spends and am making progress as well so not all a backwards step.
Had my annual statement through from my Sains CC - last year spent £3,323.95 on purchases but only ended up paying £42.63 in interest, super pleased with thatDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Back again, electricity & gas up for renewal, have done a quick search of the market and staying with existing supplier but on a different tariff.
Currently paying £612 a year, new tariff projects £660 a year so a £48 increase. With these new tariff they are offering as a reward a £50 amazon gift voucher which is always useful for me and with the projected increase am actually £2 better offAlso still get 200 nectar points each month for submitting readings which I use a lot. Am also good at reducing usage and this year although my current payment seems high at £612 have had quite a few refunds where my usage is lower so the £660 should be a high figure and not what I actually spend.

Good morning
Hossie good for the vet yesterday, didnt need sedation, shared call out fee, had budgeted £160 only cost £114So pennies will be kept in account and have got a good start on next year.
Credit report landed, another few pennies knocked of the total of the mortgage, not long till under £147K, getting there slowly. Small signature update showing Bcard going in the right direction.
Small spends today just need to get some shampoo for hols, have pennies in purse to use, good thing really as only have 71p in my account!
I do really need to get ahead of the overdraft, need to crack on with the extra pennies rolling in and being more tighter with my budget to get this down asap.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Fail yesterday, spent £42 shoppingI bought shampoo, some socks and a couple of t-shirts for hols plus a wee bit of grocery shopping. I put this on my card, but only ended up spending £27 ish as had £12.50 of nectar points. I will pay this of straight away out of my grocery budget this month. Know its not great but hey its done now so moving forward.
Came home and found £50 cash at home, a present from my mum to say thanks for driving her down at the weekend to see auntie. Rang her and said its fine but she wanted to give as a present, so I mentioned the £300 a month she is giving me at the moment is not enough, but she wanted to say thanks. You have no idea how super grateful I am for it
Will put it towards my holiday spends, so I have £144 to spend, I also have £50 misc money as well. Hope to spend less than this.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Its friday, payday and last working day before a week off
So payday, new pay for the start of the new tax year, it looks like net has increased by about £10 a month, counteracts the £10 rise in council tax but at least not having to find extra money elsewhere
Have paid of my few purchases on Sains CC so back to 0 there.
Spends mainly sorted for hols, bag packed, do grumpy hoss later then off this evening. It will probably rain all week but I dont care, am not at work so it doesnt matter. Will miss my grumpy moo thoalthough I doubt she will miss me

Good morning
Am back, had a lovely week away, am all castled out, visited loads but all free bar 1 so overall a cheap holiday. Friends parents cooked for us bar 1 night when we treated them for dinner. Back saturday and sorted bits out. Not too much to do in the house as my super mum has been in and hoovered house, cut my grass and bought a few top up groceries, so enough fresh bits to last this week
Yesterday had hossie trainer, rode again, she was very good
So holiday spends:-
Spent £14 in dunelm - bought picture frames for me and can opener for mum
£13.20 entrance to one castle
£7.61 on new lead ropes for the hoss
£52 and then £55 on fuel
£15 on sheep for me
£14 in outlet shop on few t-shirts for me
Total spends £172  I had £92 in budget oopsbut I have bought stuff not intended for holiday spends
So £172 spent less £92 already put aside, £10 from survey site, £57 in hoss food budget not needed and £15 set aside for bills account not needed and am all square
Must go update signature as still want to save the remaining £500 for a holiday later on in the year but need to start again now. Emergency fund not touched and still on track.
Its my mums 70th in a few weeks time, sister wanted to do something special, just the 3 of us, so we had a look yesterday and we are going for dinner, 3 course meal at the shard, is £48 each  plus trains and poss contributing to mums share need £85  Of course not budgeted and we are going next sunday  So I am due expenses, will chase up on tuesday, thats £63 so that will cover most of it already. I have £30 spare in my misc budget so that covers the rest.
I have £72 still left in groceries budget, still have lots in freezer and store cupboards and a few fresh bits, so hopefully be under budget and can start reducing a few pennies on my overdraft.
Back in my other office this week so that will be another load of expenses due at the end of the month so that will start me back on my targets.
Taking advantage today of the free listings on ebay, have re-listed whats not sold and about to go list a few more
Sofa payment out today so another £30 knocked of the total.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
