Just doing a few workings out for next few months, am due in for expenses as doing a few odd days in my other office at least £60 this month, £60 in may and probably £120 in june. These are all "extras" so can put towards my targets :)

My vet is down next week to do annual injections for the hoss, a friend may tag along too to get her hoss's teeth done so fingers crossed can do that then can half the call out fee. I have money saved already for this but be nice to get a head start on next years cost :)

At the weekend sorted out all my savings targets and set up goals on internet banking, have faffed around in the past but these are my targets now:-

Fun savings - £1000 - new saddle for the hoss, days out etc

Holiday - £1000 ideal but starting at £500

Horse - £1140 - £1k for emergencies, £140 for annual fees (to save each year)

House - £45K, my big one! To reduce mortgage to buy out ex

Insurance - £1645 - includes car mot/tax/insurance/service, house and life insurance - need to save this each year - this year covered but will need to start for next year

    ISA - £1000 - my emergency fund

As noted above have completed this year my horse annual funds and my insurance funds and am making good progress on this years holiday fund and my emergency fund.

So target each year is to save:-
    £500 for holiday
    £140 for hoss
    £1645 for insurance and car

    Total £2285 minimum

Obviously holiday is a frivolity so if this doesnt happen then not a disaster but nice to plan for this if I can.

The other targets are there for emergencies and for more longer term plans.

I still need to pay of my bcard too so thats always on the back of my mind.

Good to get thoughts down on paper as always whizzing through my mind!

So exciting food shopping at lunchtime, fresh bits and store cupboard stocked up. Getting bread and in the reduced section were packs of 6 crumpets reduced to 69p each, picked up 2, can whack in freezer, the fact that they were teddy bear shaped crumpets had nothing to do with the decision at all :rotfl:

So got to the checkout and total was £59.53, needed to spend £60 so a yorkie bar made it onto the list ;) and voucher could be used sufficiently. After voucher and my gift card I had from a survey site total spend was £38 :D

    Good morning :)

Good weekend again, saturday had a lazy day, did the hoss, went to get hoss bedding, got some fuel, lazed in the sun and had my washing out to dry on the line. All spends in budget bar the hoss bits but ahead f myself and will take out of next months budget.

Sunday took my parents down to visit my Auntie in worthing, shes a wee bit poorly so nice to catch up as havent seen her properly since last june.

In my southampton office today so an early start but a few extra pennies from expenses to come in.

Min payment for bcard out today so another £111 knocked of the total debt. Still too high for my liking but am working on it.

Got some survey points landed so £10 worth of nectar points to use for next months shop :) Also redeemed another amazon voucher, will be enough to get my bit for the hoss outright and a few pennies left over, just waiting for it to land now.
