  • I'd like to join you all please. I'm worried as I'm attempting to quit with no aids... any tips on how to get through it would be appreciated!
  • Can I join?

Another one not using aids - eek
  • This will be interesting seeing what works for everyone - whether you're using aids or not! Anyone got any tips for those not using patches/gum etc?

Oh, and this is your friendly reminder to sign up! :) You've only got today and tomorrow!

Count me in too please .

I've had an e cig in the drawer for ages . Time to use it :j
  • Can I join please?? I already have my stoptober pack that came through the post and I've downloaded the app, but only just seen this thread on here :) I've given up a few times before but always started again and now that my kids are bullying me to stop, I think it's about time I gave up for good. The only thing that seems to have worked for me is a vapour ecig so I'm going to try that again after the champix tablets sent me a bit doolally lol!

  • I quit a few years back with no aids and found that having healthy snacks such as carrot sticks, grapes etc helped quell the cravings, in particular the hand to mouth action, and it was all counting towards my 5 a day

Right, seeing as it's not far away now, how about getting it into our signatures? That way you can't avoid it! :p

Feel free to use this example or let me know if you come up with a better one!

  • MSE Megan, it keeps telling me that attachments aren't allowed in signatures but I took the URL brackets out and it seems to be ok (we'll see if it appears on this post!)
