I'm managed to move passed cravings so far, but my toddler terror is driving me up the wall at the moment! Keep getting 'just one little drag, you'll feel better', going through my head.ITV Winners Club Member (106)

Sadly a bad work day - started off with a journey which took longer than usual (still arrived on time fortunately but only just) so started out with high stress levels. Unfortunately it was also a quiet day work-wise so sent the boredom levels up massively as well making an 8 hour day seem like 12 hours:(
On the plus side, it was someone's birthday and plenty of cakes and biscuits were brought in (they didn't get to take any home though:rotfl:).
Still day 1 safely navigated:). Onwards and upwards
Hope you all had a good start."Whether you think you can, or you think you can't -- you're right" - Henry Ford0 -
Don't feel bad I have caved too today, mainly because I have been around other smokers and I just can't seem to say no!!
You are still doing really well though, just think about how many you would have smoked, you have still saved money and are heading in the right direction![STRIKE]CC1: £354.35 / £354.35[/STRIKE]

Feel bad now
No worries!!! Just remember how bad you felt afterwards? Remember this next time you're tempted. You havn't failed...it's just a blip
I have a little app I have downloaded and it pops up on my phone a few times a day with reasons why I have quit...
Everytime I think "Oh, i'll have a ciggy now...." I just tell myself "No I wont....because i'm a non smoker"
Well Done everyone. :T0 -
Well done everyone for you efforts, if you've had a minor blip, put it down to experience.
I'm finding plenty of water good for pushing cravings aside, I'm expecting everyone to have the tidiest houses ever at the end of this!!
I'm finding it really good to have a read through guides that give you facts about what is happening to your body day by day and week by week, it gives you something to aim for.

There are loads out there though.
My last piece of advice for you is to get past the 'routine', for example, I'll have one after breakfast and before I get ready for work, by the time I've skipped the usual cigarette and I'm brushing my teeth, I've forgotten all about the smoking because I've filled the routine with something else.0 -
Here's to another day of non smoking for us all!
We can do this. Every time you think of one of those vile things and start to crave...think of a motto that will get you through!
Mine today is the £280 a month I can put towards our new home when we finally purchase it!
Oh...and hiding my yucky breath after I've smoked...no need to do that now !
What will yours be today?0 -
Im only in to Day 3 and I have already saved £20.83
Soon mounts up!! Keep going guys!0 -
For those who have had a temporary blip, don't worry! Today is a new day, only take from yesterday what you need to and leave the rest behind
Onto day 2 of being a non smoker, I found last night quite difficult as my partner smokes and despite him being considerate and going outside to smoke, I could still smell it.....although it did make me think 'that's what you smell like after a fag?? Eeugggh!!!'
I'm feeling strangely positive today xCurrent Debt - Credit Card £3231.14; Hire Purchase £4,555; Catalogue £562.60, Loan £4754.880
