I am like you. The pictures don't bother me. Looking at spiders in general doesn't bother me. What bothers me is when they start moving and they are in my space! I detest watching the way they scurry and I can't stand the thought of them suddenly scurrying past me out of nowhere.
I guess for some people, looking at them has the same effect? And that's why some people weren't keen on your pic?

:) Get collecting all those lovely fresh conkers now :D

Scattered around the rooms = no spiders :T

Conkers contain a naturally-occurring substance called saponin, which repels spiders, lice, fleas and ticks.

 Morning all on this dull day
I just keep one conker in my bedroom as that is where I fear the spiders most . They can happily run round my bathroom and other areas of the house catching flies :rotfl:
Reason why I only have one conker is because someone told me they encourage mice into the house :eek::eek::eek: so don't want to put lots of conkers about.

OH is always telling me to put it on as what's the point in being cold and miserable as I'm always miserable anyway so no point being cold as well :rotfl:

    Morning all.
Thank you TS about the Green deal.
Now I have a dilemma. I was just about to go ahead and get a new combi installed, but do I wait just incase I can get this, or even more risky, do I get my home assessment done with the hompe I can get this grant? Hmmm, choices, choices.

I had a home assessment done last May, and nothing came of it because the funding dried up :(

This time around they are not saying yet who will qualify for funding. As we will find this information out in November, which is just around the corner, perhaps you can hold off both with the assessment and the combi until November to see if you will be one of the lucky ones?

    Morning all

It's a very welcome day off today :) The annual baby boom resulting from Christmas/New Year merriment continues but the end is in sight :D
Wet and miserable day here. We all got soggy on the school run so DS2 and I are now cuddled on the sofa under a blanket with a hot chocolate :D
