Can any elite members offer me any advice?

I need to swap my gas and electric. Only moved into my new house two months ago and went with the current suppliers of British Gas and EON. Paying about £160 a month for both at the moment.

Anyone know any goods deals? Got a quote from First Utility and they reckon then can save me about £400 a year which sounds too good to be true.

Was going to get free cavity wall installed but DW doesn't want lots of holes in the brick work.

I've had cavity wall installed and you don't notice the holes, unless you go around really looking for them. Even when I had a green deal assessment done, the assessor could not see that I had had it done.

I'm not surprised that it is a zero return tonight. But, at least that's all now done and out of the way.

Oh:). I didn't realise the Heinz Tomato soups were also 50p each in T. No good though with expensive 50p biscuits, but I prefer them when people buy them at over £1 instead of 50p:laugh:.

The soups price is very very expensive, even comparing against T. I still have some 6 can packs of those from when they were £1.50 RTC in A. We normally use them up very quickly, but doing so more slowly now:T given that we had good MOCs and offers on earlier cup soups where I stocked up even more massively:rotfl:.

No surprises - I know about all those items already. Wrong sausages. Should be Pork or Thick Irish Pork in 2s, if we don't go to level of Eday "Value" or "Savers". Picks up 4 for £3 mbuy in M on the Tomato soup. Obviously no good. 4 pint milk (or even 6 pint - £1.99 vs £1.48) is definitely one to buy, on a comp. shop in M, avoiding its own mbuy, if you have absolutely no A near you and can't get 10% off, just have an M. In fact, I think, isn't 4 pint milk best Mvs Aldi, if not going for 10% off £1 (or, slightly better, pedantically, per unit £1.48) from Asda? Needing to spend £15 on M prices though.

Check with various comparison sites and make sure if you can use your real usage from the past year. We switched to First Utility a year or so ago and they are generally competitive. Also remember Cashback - £42 on tCB for FU.

Id think an ulcer Perky. 2 of my kids were very prone to them as toddlers. I put it down to them always sticking things they shouldn't in their mouths.
You can buy bonjella for kids. DONT!!!!! give them adult Bonjella, it's dangerous!! For kids under 16
I find that they can usually show you where it hurts and you can get the bonjella on it. I hope you get her sorted. It's unlikely a child so young woukd have a cold sore I think.

My DS has suffered with cold sores all of his life, even as a toddler.

I now buy him lysine tablets and lip balm as when he does get them he tends to get them in clusters and his mouth looks so raw and sore. It really helps as he doesn't get them as often as he used to.

I always get mouth ulcers if I (accidentally) eat anything with gluten in. It's one of the symptoms of coeliac disease and wow they can be really painful. :o

I have also read that some people get mouth ulcers if they use toothpaste with sodium lauryl sulfate in? It seems to be in everything?:( I buy Weleda herbal toothpaste to avoid SLS and flouride x

I haven't had chance to catch up so hope everyone is well? x

A few things below from a womble dated 7/10. Seemed cheap for this bread? Not that I eat it though lol! :rotfl:

Hasn't it gone cold now?

I have to be up at 4.30am so bed is calling, nite all xxx

    A v T

2 x Kingsmill Thick Sliced Soft White Bread (800g)£1.58£2.70

    A v S

4 x Heinz Classic Cream of Tomato Soup (400g)£2.00£3.60
2 x Kingsmill Thick Sliced Soft White Bread (800g)£1.58£2.70
    2 x Ye Olde Oak Hot Dogs (8 per pack - 400g)£1.00£2.00

    A v M
3 x Knorr Super Chicken Noodle Soup (51g)£2.22£1.50

Not cheap enough for me:D:D:D - I never have bread over 50p. Therefore, from my perspective, that Kingsmill seems quite expensive - although I know I am on a completely different world to the generally accepted price perceptions:laugh:.

The Avs S comp. - or should that be Svs A - prompts me - I've just destroyed the receipt, wasn't going to mention this (I was trying not to be obsessive:rotfl:) but - those on the Avs S comp. are the benchmark prices!

Sains - there you are, benchmark prices!:D I had something like Yoplait yoghurts 4x125g pack S £2.00 and A £1.00, but no good, very expensive £1 price anyway, stick to S/P, 33p:rotfl:. Vs Morries:rotfl::rotfl: - and restrain yourself from buying them, so you are then getting them even more rarely and saving money(:rotfl:). Really felt I was buying them too much and putting them on nearly every Morries comp., so I've been avoiding them as much as possible! My membership of the Institute of Non-Buying comes back again:rotfl:.
