TrulyMadly wrote: »Sorry to hear about your DH logie...it's awful when that happens. I know there could be a simple explanation but it doesn't stop you thinking that you are deliberately being excluded:o
I really think and hope there is an explanation. One of the blokes is one of his best mates who he sees two or three times a week. I'd just mope about it if it were me. However, he has sent a straight to the point text message saying what he thinks. Maybe H's Christening party at ours won't be such a squeeze after all♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »As I'm now so averse to trouble or conflict:o:o, this leads to me not saying anything at all (which then increases the problem as makes me more introverted). Then they expect you to say something and, when you don't, your silence is treated as being rude. (Why didn't you speak to me when asked?)
But...I didn'ta know what to say. (Nor do I know what to say to the question of why I didn't say anything, that you've now asked. Should I give the truth? And then be taken to be rude? Or should I make something up and then be wrestling internally with my own lying?)
I can't win... however, as that is the case, I do not therefore even try "to win" and therefore I don't bother about it and I'm perfectly fine!:D:T
In fact I've also gone the other way. I'm a lot more assertive in a lot of ways than I ever used to be. Sometimes straight to the point is the best way. Sometimes you can have people that respect that - "I like how you tell it as it is". But I don't necessarily mean to be "outspoken" - and sometimes, yes, I do mean to be outspoken and I like to be a little controversial (often in a teasing-kind of way). Often I deliberately tell the truth but also in a way that I am laughing, or they think I am, so it puts it past them as they think I'm having a joke (even though both me and them knows it's the truth!):):rotfl:. In fact I am laughing. I sometimes just add a laugh to do so and make it more acceptable which, often, it works! That said I'd know to keep my mouth shut in other circumstances. Through long personal experience rather than through 'just knowing'. Sadly. As it means nothing will ever change and allistic world will never learn - just not prepared to listen to the truth sometimes! And I know some allistic people who actually agree with me, yet still follow what their society forces them to do and go along with it. But then we have to, and that's how it works:( - doesn't solve it as such, just increashes the truth of the "not prepared to hear the truth"! IMO.
I think your right people don't really want you to be either honest or truthful when it comes to them or theirs :rotfl:0 -

I thought the Morries prices were updated on a Wednesday and Friday Savvy. Has this changed?
http://www.asdapriceguarantee.co.uk/Administration/Terms-And-Conditions.aspx
No, but that T&C is merely an aspiration/hope or, actually, more accurately, it's the reverse: it's a caution approach. They mean Wednesday or Friday as a long-stop day - in other words "by Wednesday". We've seen they normally update about midday on Tuesdays. (And Thursdays presumably.) So, the T&C gives "Wednesday and Friday" as long-stops: it's not meant, there, to be read literally:D:rotfl::rotfl:.
Sometimes, rarely, it is Wednesday on the Monday collection. It's also Wednesday after Bank Holidays (when collection is done on Tuesday). It's more usually Tuesday though - so buy up to and including Monday if you wish to catch last Wednesday's collection and wait until at least Wednesday night if you want to catch Monday's. Being cautious on both of those.0 -

:rotfl: loving this conversation and totally agree,
if my girls asked me what they look like or anyone else asked i am truthful but they are never happy with the reply, why ask me if you dont want me to tell the truth, they can then make a judgement whether to go out looking like they do:o:o0
