  • I will post you a pic of DD's tomorrow if that's ok.... Don't want to risk waking her :)

Of course it is :) Please, you mustn't wake DD, I'd feel terrible  I can wait :D I'm having to wait for my brads and buttons before I can finish mine anyway but I'm open to ideas for a second one. I want to put one in the bedroom to hold photos of my planned Scotland trip :p

    Thanks:T:T
Know where im going in the morning, did see loads of stuff today when i went Post Office but didnt have time to stop, so going for a scan session in the morning:D

Was also some Disney Planes single duvets. .£3.20 after 20%. Might have been old packaging as scanned another and that was £14 . Didnt take much notice as not something I wanted.

Pink oblong cushions RTC £7.50. I think they scanned at £2.50 then 20% to come off.

Disney princess lunch boxes. 20% came off them as well so £1.60 each but theres quite a few styles of those and dont remember specific one.Others were £8

Its worth scanning anything and everything in homewares section :D

I do like my Asperger's mostly and as I say it does give me fun sometimes, watching people!:rotfl:

I guess I like it too, it just gets me down sometimes how much I struggle to socialise but I'd hate to not have my obsessions, even though they are the main reason I didn't get much work done in my previous job because I used to spend a lot of time googling whatever I was interested in :o I hated that job though but I love my current job and I'm interested in what the company does which is important to me.

I did worry that when I changed jobs I wouldn't have so much time to keep up with this thread and other stuff I do online but I actually seem to have more time. I think because I'm happier I don't waste so much time dwelling on the bad stuff so therefore I'm more productive

    Yet more obsessive websearching:o:o(:rotfl:).

    http://allism-speaks.tumblr.com/

    This bit made me laugh:

"2. Take what we say at face value
if you are told that you look fat in something, then do not be offended. Just know that it is the truth.":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And the people that can't believe that 87 out of 88 people are allistic - an epidemic or something:rotfl:! They're right though, as figures now suggest it is 1 in 88 people that have autism, rather than previous longer odds of around 1 in 100. 87 out of 88: I make that 98.8636363636...%:o - so, not quite 99% anymore, but near enough (for the people that are allistic presumably:rotfl:).

Autism spectrum disorder is not a common condition but it's not particularly rare either. So - an autism epidemic (improved recognition and diagnosis) but, look at it the other way...!

Sorry Chris, just watching " the Driver" on catch up.....anyone watching it. Oh my goodness:eek

I enjoyed it but always get too distressed by scenes of graphic violence :o I really should stop watching this type of programme but I'll have to see the rest now I've started

I'm getting half of Xmas off m and s current account gift vouchers. Cheers karlie and MSE offer xxxxx

How's you arthien. I hope things pick up xx

Hi BB, sorry for the delayed reply, i fell asleep on the sofa after reading this and then had a crazily busy day today, I got out in the garden to try and make the most of what looks like being the last nice day before the rain sets in. I'm alright though thanks, knackered as always thanks to DIY overkill! How are things with you now, are you handling your busy schedule ok?

I'm just glad my money situation isn't too bad as DH will sub me if needs be, but I just don't like not knowing how much my work will pay me when I finish next week, and whether I'll get paid on the 25th at my new place, or whether I'll have to wait another month!

I'm seriously thinking about doing my first current account switch soon though, you've inspired me. Is there still a good offer on at M&S?

Hopefully one of the lovely home growers can advise, I've cleared out most of my growing bags now as the toms were past it and the runner beans were finished. I've also dug up around half of the potatoes as the foliage died several weeks ago and I didn't want them to start rotting. I've replaced them with more sprouted ones from my pantry in the vain hope of having more for Christmas. But is there anything else I can plant now that will grow over the next few months? It feels like a waste to have empty bags sitting around. Also, the bags that contained tomatoes are now full of tiny roots. Do I need to pick them all out or will they just rot down into the soil?

Oh, hey, try not to let it worry too much (I know it's easy to say that:o) but you're not the only one with this! I was going to write "...with these problems", but that's how I look at it - it's only a "problem" if you make/want it to be - maybe I'm in denial, but sometimes that's the best way to be!

Changed jobs?!?:eek: You're doing much better than me - in a way - as I'm currently not in a job! (But I'm in a good situation and not necessarily needing to hold a job at the moment - in a bit of a breathing space at the moment I think.)

I'm glad you're looking on the positive side, towards the end of your post. I don't know about your obsessions - I find that in my home life I get drawn into my obsessions (like now:o:rotfl:) and procrastinate and 'have executive functioning difficulty' is the technical terminology. Things get done - eventually!:(:rotfl::o:rotfl: At work however, it would give me some task to do and I'd get down to that task and stick on it, so I didn't find the Googling on obsessions applied there - that perhaps does need bringing under control. (I know it's difficult, as I have similar things at home and with here - a good sign if I disappear and aren't on the thread for days lol:rotfl::rotfl:!)

I lost my OP and now deleted it. I'm sorry about that, although you do seem to be coping a bit better - if I can help or provide support, you can PM me. (Just be aware :o:othat it might not get a reply for days on end if I'm being called off to deal with my obsessions and finding it difficult to get round to replying to you:rotfl::rotfl::(:rotfl:. I'll try. I do try, I do try folks.) Try not to let things get you down: you're doing very well (better than me in some aspects).

:) Thanks - will do when I eventually see him again - might be the week after next....

I did a really really stupid thing yesterday & have been a bit in shock since it happened.
I knew I had to confess to him about it - I told him when he rang, not to shout at me :o
He didn't, as I think he thought it was something completely different to what I confessed too & was rather relieved :)
