Must be frustrating after waiting so long :o but it sounds like you've had a good solid job done. Many years of happy stashing :D
I can just see you both. Mr TS pottering around in his resin floored workshop whilst you fiddle with your stash :rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure if I have said before but we could have had new bathroom years ago if we hadn't been paying out for trampolining, training, kit and competitions especially abroad did not come cheap. :eek:

I had a small stash in the shed after joining MSE the first year and I remember there being talk about not leaving it out in the cold over winter, and the only space indoors was in the bathroom. It was just 2 crates worth back then. :o

I would never fiddle with my stash honest. :rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure why I picked art, think it was something to do with the "blocks" subjects were in and because of my other selections there was nothing else I could chose from in that block that wasn't a repeat. Was a total waste of my time I didn't enjoy it one bit.

I found all my certificates of merit in my mum's jewellery drawer of all places, must have been precious to her. :A

I am not sure if I kept them or not, still a lot of paperwork I have popped in corners and not looked at again yet. :o

We have boxes and boxes of paperwork and more!! I don't get rid of it because Im sure there will be something I need to find in it one day :o every so often it throws up little priceless gems :o

I still live in hope of finding out about my Dads side of my family one day. He was adopted (not legally) near the end of the war and he never found out where he came from. It has been brought home to me lately during hospital visits when Im asked about family medical history........I can't say :( I know nothing about medical history on that side of my family

Thanks to snap she will be getting a box of twix stix. :T

Taking beans, rice, noodles, jars of sauces. I am careful now to only take what she has asked for otherwise it all comes back end of term to be stashed away again. :o

Goodnight FC and savvy and any lurking Elite. :A

My dad burnt all his "papers" before he died, it's sad as there is a lot I don't know about him, he was a prisoner in the 2nd world war, he always said he would tell me one day but that day never came. :(

Saying that I do know his side of the family quite well must be very sad to know nothing at all. :(

Oh I thought I had found you out!
Imposter!:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

You claimed to be a "nerd". I prefer "geek";).

Do you have Asperger's syndrome?*

http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/autism.htm

Fun quiz for all!:D:D:D:D
Results of your
Autism / Asperger's Screening Quiz

You scored a total of 45

Based upon your responses to this autism screening measure, it appears that you are likely suffering from an autism spectrum disorder, or Asperger's disorder. People who score similarly often qualify for a diagnosis of autism or Asperger's.
S C O R E S If you scored...
Then... 34 & up Autism likely
30 - 33 Possible autism
0 - 29 No autism

Oh:):rotfl::rotfl:.
I note not merely "possible" (anything's possible:p), but actually "likely". What - only a 66.66666666...% chance that I have an autism spectrum disorder?:cool::rotfl:
I'm still "suffering", folks:D:rotfl::j:rotfl::rotfl:.

"People who score similarly often qualify for a diagnosis of autism or Asperger's. "
I've "qualified", yayyyy.....!!!:D:D:j:j:rotfl: Well done me!:D

Now, who on earth else is brave enough to take that quiz and reveal their result, if it is in the autism spectrum range?:rotfl:

*The psychologist that referred me to my eventual diagnosis asked this question immediately he saw me. Actually, it was "Do you have autism?", but I can't gild any lily:rotfl: (and so I just had to add this bit and clarify to make it completely accurate:rotfl::o:rotfl::rotfl:). A question that, I suspect, if you went up to someone random and asked them, would be likely to cause them offence. However, to me, it seemed merely a reasonable question lol!:rotfl: (Like any enquiry is a reasonable question.)

I don't hold much stead by these Internet tests but I did this one just for you :D

Results of your
Autism / Asperger's Screening Quiz
You scored a total of 20

You have answered this autism screening in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from an austism spectrum disorder, including Asperger's disorder.

You should not take this as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment in any way, though.

I have been fortunate enough (depending on your view) to have taken part in some clinical research into whether ASD could have genetic links. I was happy to do it as research is the only way to find answers to these things. The results were interesting to say the least.

I might also say that if I had wanted that quiz to say I had ASD, Id have known exactly which boxes to tick ;):)

I make it sound (look?) like there are no disadvantages to having Asperger's. That's not the case: there are disadvantages. However, I think that, the exact way in which Asperger's affects me and the degree to which it does so, in my case, the upsides to it far outweigh the downsides. I do have a few problems in my life (doesn't everyone?) and I think that sometimes the problems affect me to a greater extent than they would most people but, on the whole, and the way it affects me, it's not a bad condition (affecting someone in that way) to have!

[1] Oh what a shame:(:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

You are "not likely currently suffering from...". As if it's possible to develop autism later in your life.:(:rotfl: (Explanation: in other words, me frown at the quiz making an inaccurate suggestion by saying "not currently".)

[2] :rotfl:

[3] Yes.:) (I didn't 'want' to make the quiz say I had ASD though. I answered it completely honestly, the only way I could!) :o:rotfl:I've no idea which way I have to answer the quiz to get it to say I don't have it. I suspect that comes from your intuitiveness though?:think:

That's life :o kids and what they need and want come first. You are in a better position now to have what you want. You wouldn't change the fact that you did without so the kids could have their things :T:T
