Oh Shirley we have been inundated with monsters the last couple of weeks  I hate them. We don't usually kill them, we just evict them. I do so hate them though
I might have said this one was big but by this year's standards it was small. We've had two of those monsters. This first one I jumped on from a height, the second was on my net curtain. Well, what would you do? I opened the window and threw the entire net curtain out and closed the window leaving it dangling there. I thought how ridiculous this was going to look when daylight came so I pulled the wire out and released the curtain to fall to the ground. It was still there when I came home from work the next day but the monster had gone!

I don't think you are! Whilst I don't want to go into it (perhaps in order to disguise my own ignorance), I'm not having anyone, these days, taking the 'nerd' label away from me!:D:naughty::rotfl::rotfl:
OK, I'll admit to being a poindexter:)

  • Yeah you did! Just worked out I've used at least 10kg of caster sugar up since the end of June and about 25kg of icing sugar
    Happy Belated Birthday, PD:T
By my reckoning, it was due around the 25th September.....

I think they'll all go now the weather is cooling. We have 2 weeks in March and 2 weeks in September normally where the monsters are scurrying around. They're apparently male spiders looking for a mate......no one told them what happens after they find Mrs spider

My OH doesn't mind catching them and putting them outside but handy to know I have a kid willing to deal with them in his absence :D :rotfl:

Hi 3Dogs, you have missed loads, I have had builders in and have a spanking new garage to fill with my stash. :j

Emptying the bathroom is work in progress.

    Finding all sorts I had forgotten/lost. :o

How are you, long time no see. :A

I think I caught that you were having garage built on one of my fleeting glances on here over time, but didn't realise it was finished and you can now move your stash into there! Will be so odd for you having a bathroom that is actually a bathroom :rotfl:

I am doing OK, really busy with my work for the Street Dogs of Romania, but feeling good most of the time, though caught a coughing/throat bug at moment so hoping that doesn't last :(

Tut!! You mean you didn't spot that those were Ellie Gouldings lips? :o :rotfl::rotfl:

Bless him.....he gives everything 100% though. I don't know why, it just really made me giggle. Not in a cruel way I might add. No, art isn't a strong point for me either

    And that's what counts. :T

I could never get the hang of "shading", we had to do a drawing of our own thumbs for O level art, let's just say it didn't even look like anyone's thumb let alone mine. :o

Art wasn't one of my O levels (or o grades as they were in Scotland)

Not so long ago OH and I inadvertently came accross all of our report cards from primary school :D we had a good laugh reading them. Our mums had kept them all and we have ended up with them amongst the piles of papers and photographs we have. I also found a certificate of merit for woodwork from high school :D
