Thanks for joining me Mrs M-P! In my HHC I hung out the washing, swept the floor ready to mop later, put the dishes away, cleaned the sink, tidied some other bits of gibble away. Not a lot really but it's a start isn't it. Going to have lunch now and then off to the allotment.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Hugs and strengthening vibes for you, Dusty.
Room of Doom nearly done. Dusting, the bit I hate the most, went very well. My hands got sunburnt yesterday, which resulted in horrendous pins and needles after they got cold this morning on the first dog walk of the day. I put the dog walking gloves on after I got home and used them to dust - result! Hands warmed up, gloves grotty, but RoD sparkly. (Gloves now soaking.)
All filters refitting into the dy$ons - I know some people don't like them, but I really, really love their design. Just got the futon to make up and window to vinegar, and then I'm done. Excellent morning's flying.Better is good enough.0 -
 Hi everyone - that felt like a short morning!
The Old Wives' celebration went very well yesterday evening. We had about 40 people there and everyone said how good it was. The cakes went down well! I felt it necessary to carry out a quality check on both of mine and the rich fruit birthday cake - which, together with last Thursday's baking session, may account for the 1 lb I had put back on at weigh-in this morning  but they sure did taste good
I completed everything off my own list yesterdayand before we went out to SW at 9.15 this morning I
- wrote 2 emails
- did a bank transfer
- did WMx1 and started x2
- started gammon (yes, I did check it first, pigpen!) in the SC
- posted DGD1's birthday card and
- sorted a new list for today.
This afternoon I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] intend to
- make soup for lunch
- remove another large molehill  and mow the lawn
- hang out WMx2
- write a letter to one of my godchildren
- make a phonecall
- email an old school colleague
- do essential food shopping - mostly fruit and veg
- complete the last bits for 4 resource boxes
DH is out this evening so I can chill then (and probably fall asleep over my knitting because it was a very late night last night).
Anyone up for a HHS now, before lunch?
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all in need.0 -
Hello everyone, thanks for the new thread Dusty.
Just as I was starting to get back on my feet DD2 has gone down with a upchucking bug. I, of course, have managed to get it as well. I've lost nearly a stone now. None of it by my free will. I feel so run down and tired.
I've spent today emptying out our shoe cupboard. I found around 40 pairs and they are all on the patio for when everyone comes home. Whatever isn't claimed is going in the bin. 4 adult males with identical sized feet makes telling whose shoes are whose impossible.
DD2 and DS3's shared bedroom has also had a declutter. Now to find the energy to get to the CS.
My clothing as been sorted and summer articles are boxed away. My sandals have been cleaned and stuffed with paper so they keep their shape. I'm feeling quite productive really!
Happy Autumn Equinox to those celebrating today. I've not read back so I hope everyone is well and spoons to all that are in need.0 -
Downstairs hall swept, cat biscuit everywhere from kittens playing. Livingroom swept too.
One load on the line.
DW on.
Phone call to my mum decluttered.
Phone call to sort out car insurance done, budget spreadsheet updated.
Other paperwork sorted out and filed/ shredded.
Now having a coffee and waiting for the kittens to fall asleep from playing chase so I can sweep and scrub the bathroom floor, they follow me everywhere and I really don't need their "help"
The Dogs Trust are doing free microchipping on the green outside our house. So now I have dogs out there whining which is making next doors dogs bark moreMy dog is quietly lying on her blankets in the kitchen, not fuss from her
