Happy to hear about your mother dusty.

I did the bathroom yesterday, so did the kitchen this morning after taking DD for uni intro session.

Lunch out with DD, her friend and DS1 which was a lovely treat.

Well bad side up I couldn't get to bathroom this morning as DH decided to sort out all his decorating etc kit and wash it all - so every space full of clutter !!

However, good side up because he had today off and it was sunny he OFFERED to clean all the windows. Can now see outside from inside :rotfl: and all window surrounds and sills cleaned throughout. YEAH !!!

So I did the kitchen instead.
    Did all WUDUPA
    Fridge sorted and cleaned inside.
    Freezer sorted.
All fronts up cupboards and down cupboards cleaned.
    Kickbacks and sides cleaned.
    Table hotspot cleared.
    Table and chairs washed.
Worktops, shelves and electricals all cleaned.
Cleaned drainer, taps and sink and poured boiling soda down plug-hole.
    Swept and washed floor.

Now at work since 3.00 so will catch up later

Valli, when my DS1 went to uni I was devastated, but got used to his absence after visiting him at half term. Perhaps you could look forward to a day trip?
I am planning on visiting the Vallikids this term. DD's visit will now be deferred because I have ALREADY HAD TO GO BECAUSE SHE LEFT PAPERWORK HERE WHICH SHE NEEDED TODAY. This meant I wasn't home Sunday night to iron. This meant I had NOTHING IRONED FOR WORK THIS MORNING:mad:

On the positive side (ever the Pollyanna) I discovered that leaving the M1 at J34 (M'Hell) is SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than leaving at J30 - as long as traffic through Steel City ain't backed up it's quicker, too!

Tonight I shall be mostly ironing!

I think I've got myself into a bit of pickle. I thought I would get quite a lot done today on the RoD, but sadly, what with one thing and another, it is every bit as cluttered, dusty and disorganised as it was at 8.00am this morning.

I've now realised Mrs Dog has to be at the groomers tomorrow afternoon and I like to spend that time at the local library while she's being stripped and clipped, and the room has be ready by 5.30pm. I'm not good at early starts, so it's going to be pretty intense tomorrow morning.

It's not entirely my fault. A good friend was taking his ship to sea for the last time from Plymouth so I had to go and wave him off (fire tenders and - genuinely - bells and whistles) and then I'd booked us on a guided walk around the military defences near the chalet. That should have been an hour and a half, but it seemed like half of the MOD's local property wonks came along and I have to say they were absolutely spellbindingly interesting. OH and I are utterly exhausted - lots of steep steps on the South West Coastal Path and in and out of MOD properties that we'd never have had the chance to see otherwise.

I did, at least, do the kitchen sink today but that's about all. My feet hurt.
    Better is good enough.

    Today I have done:

    3x wm
    Cleared landing
Cleaned sink, bath loo and shower
Been to the allotment for some weeding and to get rspberries and beans. Smallest child scoffed the lot on the wa home so I've no rasps to show for it.
Done a couple of admin jobs I've been putting off.
Plus school runs, feeding of children and bunging a casserole in the sc.
Still doing bedtime though so may be cooked to b#ggery by the time I get to eat it :(

Dh ironed me a uniform for tomorrow, I'm in work and dreading it :(
