Hi all, I'm a bit late to the party.
Pigpen, yuck, just yuck! Not the peapod
Not a lot achieved here - left house at 7.30 , home at 4, full of cold so had a brief lie down (see, ionafan!) then made dinner for littlies and generally fussed over them till 7. Since then I've had supper with MIL and a good natter, plus tidied kitchen, sorted lunches and school stuff for morning. Just had a shower and I'm bushed.
The main bathroom will need to be done though. There is evidence of a little boy having been in there :rotfl: Kids at after school club tomorrow, but if I can get home at a reasonable time, I might be able to give it a good scrub, or maybe get the steamer onto it.
Of course I might end up lying down again... Early start tomorrow.
Not sure if I mentioned here but I think sainsburys have 25% off clothing range from tomorrow.
Night all xBossymoo

Thanks Pigpen. This flying lark actually works - I set to and started tidying the office after posting, and Hey Presto! 45 minutes later - it was completely done. Two massive clear outs with Flylady Support have, between them, turned this RoD around.
I will have to dust, clean the windows and the sink, but actually, what used to take five days will be done in a grand total of two hours. Amazing. Unthinkable from where it used to be.Better is good enough.0 -

Ah guess who is not asleep again despite feeling shattered. My mind is just too full.
Going to have a cuppa and look at a magazine, so much to do that even I don't know where to start but priorities are:
Emails to DS3 school
Ironing
Sort out with DS2 what he still needs
See Mum and food shop for her
DS2 last bit of banking
Clean shower room
Hoover and Mop - anywhere and everywhere
Fill wheelie bin - bit more tree pruning (DS2 can help)
oh my and that is only scratching the surface. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Chop 2 leeks (including green bits) or 2 onions or a mix of both.
Wipe 2-3lb of Toms, cut in half, scoop out just the seeds, put them in a small collander to collect the juices in a bowl, stir to maximize.
Heat 30-50g butter in a large pan, fry the leeks unti soft with the lid on.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of flour and stir.
Slowly add 1litre of stock (I use boulion) and bring to the boil.
Add Tom juice, big squirt of tom puree, herbs (I use mixed) and the tomato halves.
Simmer for as long as you like but until the skins start to come away - I do this in the bottom of the aga for an hour or until I remember it.
Blitz with a blender, put through a collander (small holes) to remove the bits of skin and any rouge seeds.
You can add black pepper and/or fresh basil to serve. Recipe said to add a teaspoon of sugar but I've never done that bit.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hugs dusty I'm awake too. DD was crying as I didn't hear her calling me - must've been in a deep sleep - but she woke DS. Need to get up for work but want them both asleep first.Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Thanks Bossy hugs right back at you.
Mogs fed, magazine finished and ready to declutter to Mum, washing up put away, clothes taken off the maiden.
Going to just iron a shirt for DS2, I'll do the rest when they are all away and catch up on some tv whilst at it.
I may even try to nap later as I know I am just not getting enough sleep. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
