    Morning all

DS1 away to his new job, he looked very smart and was really excited, DS3 away to school and DH just left too all off to their trains or bus. From next week when DS2 is at uni the house will be empty from 8am, how organised am I going to be!

So much to do today and I'll need to go see Mum too but will need to be this afternoon to get her meds and before my Gov meeting tonight.

Think I'll make a cuppa and then do a HHI to start the day.

Morning all. I'm in this week. I'm not back to the paid stuff until Wednesday and I'm hoping there will be no travel for about three weeks including this one.

First job for me is ironing then I will have breakfast. Best to get the worst job out of the way first. The weather is still dry so I will be able to cut the grass today too.

    Have a great day everyone.

Are you going to make a peapod for the new grandbeast? How are you supposed to get the baby into it?

This one is for the grandbeast.

take one baby... stuff inside... though now I want to adapt the pattern to include a wrap over ribbon tie front and one with a mermaid tail... I LOVE pattern jiggling.

    I'm back . . . again :o

Been having a carppy time, had dramas with DD2 who's got herself an older boyfriend  (she's just 16, he's 20, but luckily a very young 20) I decided not to make an issue out of it as I don't see it lasting which was confirmed today by DD2 saying he annoys her ;)
I've been waiting for court re. ex husband, finally have a court date (16th Oct). Not looking forward to that at all :(
My next door neighbour drove into my car and killed it, well nearly. Had to sort out insurance claim and buy another car. Decided to keep the other one, it only needs a new door and scratches sorted (uneconomical repair or something the insurance people called it). Our lovely friend up the road said he'd do it and them DD1 can have it. Hopefully it'll encourage her to pass her test??
We've taken on 2 new kittens, who are driving me nuts lol they're so naughty.
I agreed that DD2's old school friend from juniors who moved away could stay here when the family is down visiting people. Got reminded yesterday that it is THIS FRIDAY! that she's coming :eek: need to get the house sort of presentable

  • Morning all, thanks Dusty for the list ( glad your mum is home from hospital). So glad it's the bathroom today, our's is such a mess.

Had OT out a few weeks back and she rang last Thursday to say that we'll be getting a wet room on for DD, so relieved as the bath at times is just too dangerous for her.

This week is another busy one. Today, Thursday and Friday I have my wee niece. Tuesday and Wednesday charity work. Saturday is football and 2 birthday parties. Sunday is iceskating. I'm tired already lol.

Right best go make a start.
