    DW done again,
3x WM .. 1 on the line.. undies in the dryer
    Everyone fed
Pixies shoes purchased... she has big feet!! 5G.. not as wide as some of the others but much bigger, only comparable with DS1 whose first shoes were also a 5G. Most of the others were a good couple of months older too!
Boogs hair minced.. he needs to shave his face hair nor he looks like a minced wolverine lol.

I need to get the food out of the shed freezer and fill the kitchen freezers, defrost the shed freezer and get it restocked with Christmas niceties! .. must do a list actually..

Christmas presents restacked into a couple of bigger boxes.. few more small ones to decant but it's looking much neater without a hundred tiny boxes strewn about.

OH is on about going to the range again tomorrow.. he wants some more bulbs for the garden. I said he has to wait until the children are at school and we have some more money in.. I need to sell more ebeast stuff! I got an extra 200 free listings this weekend so I am trying to use those up.. I've managed 3... pixie is being VERY VERY clingy!

Vacuumed right through downstairs so it is looking much neater, still cluttered but at least it resembles clean now.

I need to get a someone out to creep about under my floor and check the footings on the living room wall as it has developed a large crack.. I stepdad was wittering about subsidence but it is more likely the floor joist has disintegrated and needs replacing.. not quite sure who to ring though I am compiling a comprehensive list of recommended buidlery/joinery/house-fixy types :)

I am looking at a loft conversion as well.. I *might* be able to get some funding to help with the cost, I just want it for storage so it doesn't have to be glamorous just accessible so I need proper stairs not a ladder. Someone I 'know' had hers done for £5000 and I could scrape that together.. need to first check out the lie of things regarding the children and KH and if I need to pay for court costs/solicitor etc.

    All happiness in my house!

I'm hoping the n0b next door is going out soon. Parents are away, but due back overnight I think. He's not been too bad this week, but tonight appears to have a house full of obnoxious 18yr old boys shouting and swearing as loud as they can. Surely he's not stoopid enough to have a full-on party the night they get home??? We are detached and I can still hear every profanity!

Anyhoo. Had a bit of pottering time rehoming bits and bobs earlier, although DS has made his mark on the conservatory. I don't mind, he can play with it all tomorrow then we'll put it away again.

Kitchen sorted after tea and clean laundry put away. Kiddies stayed up to watch the dancing and I've told DS not to be getting up early!

Chicken is out for tomorrow's dinner, might bung it in slowcooker in morning. Also did a MrS delivery for tomorrow. We could have gone ourselves but since we need quite a lot I thought we'd be better with a delivery, or the kids will get fed up and start asking for "stuff"

Will clean the fridge out in the morning I think, and maybe do a freezer shuffle.

I think dad is back from hols too so might see him at some point tomorrow.

Thanks for the birthday wishes both here and on facebook!

    Been hectic.

House full of flowers (3 lots) and went out with my sister last night and stayed at hers.

Done ironing. House can be skipped this weekend other than S&S as I have done it all!.

Belated Happy Birthday to juliejim and Valli

Very little flying achieved here yesterday: we were out from 9 - 3.30, then DH hoovered downstairs while I cooked, and then I dusted downstairs and steam mopped the kitchen floor before DS1 and tribe came for tea and we all played hide-and-seek. In the evening I fell asleep!

Today I have flown even less. Off out at 8.45 to the cathedral, I did some lunchtime clothes shopping in the city, in the afternoon we used our member's card at a nearby NT property that we'd never visited before ( hi mamaninie), and this evening we've had a Chinese and been to a splendid concert. It's been a good day :)
  • Gutted is understatement of the Year. DD1 goes back to Uni today......not next Sunday as I thought. She is going by train so I don't have the drive to do, but I was hoping for a few days of feeling better so we could have some time on our own when DS starts full day on Monday.

    Flying wise:

Car de gibbled and DS hand prints removed from glass windows.
3 worksurfaces all cleared, cleaned and bleached
3 roasting trays of bakery style bread pudding made
Kitchen floor hoovered steam mopped and finished on with noodle slippers
Kitchen doors spot checked and wiped over
Bathroom degibbled, bath and loo scrubbed
    Ensuite loo and sink scrubbed
    Downstairs loo and sink scrubbed
    Hallway and LR hoovered
Visible sides of sofas hoovered and febrez£d
    Hearth hoovered
My mattress hoovered and febrez£d then fresh bedding put on. Although trying to sleep on it was impossible so back on the sofa.
My BR floor degibbled into a big box and DD4 floor also degibbled
Hoovered my BR, landing floorboards and DD4 room
    Great Washing Hunt
Broken whirligig de pegged ready for dump run
DD1 made HM macaroni cheese with jackets for lunch when exMiL arrived back.

I should get off the sofa to get more painkillers now but I CBA even if I rewarded myself with a chunk of bread pudding. ... definitely overdid it yesterday.

Later I will walk DD1 to station then just gather up any of her unsorted bits for her next trip home and then with some help on young Skint duty get DD1/puter room cleaned and tidy.

Doing an ARNIE now.......I'll be back!
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • Morning everyone - couldn't sleep - again!! No idea what time it is now either!

I'm not making much progress without "you guys" so I am just warning you I'll be back on Monday!!!

    Have a great Sunday xx

    Good morning.

Ginger ninja has had his 6am gallop round the house and up and down the stairs. So cup of tea made and back to bed.

Yesterday I got the dailies done and freezer defrosted. Then out with DD to look for winter boots. It's hard as she has swollen feet which are worse during the summer. Luckily we managed. I worry about her as she is quite overweight so have to careful. She does try to lose weight. I've offered to pay for her to go to SW with me but she won't go.

Managed bits off each list again and will see what I can do today. House is better now I've come back to Flylady. Bit more organised.

I slept much better, hope you sleep tonight JTTOU.

Taking DS2 to uni at lunchtime, he seems to be taking an awful lot of stuff, DH can be in charge of getting it all into the boot of my car!

Before we go I need to:
    tidy kitchen up
Iron last 2 items and put board away
Tax disc onine, Deco I agree about not getting the disc
Quick move about of money via online banking
May have time to make Tom soup

Morning all. First job of the day was clearing up after LittleyDog who was sick in the night but didn't disturb us. She still has an appetite for breakfast though so not sure what it was all about.

Just having a cuppa and need to water plants and prune back the orchids which have finished flowering for this year now.

Must get steak out of the freezer for DH later.....right, catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.
