We use Aldi and can get everything we need there - we find it at least 30% cheaper than other supermarkets and the quality of the products is at least as good and often better. What did you buy from Asda that you couldn't get in Aldi?
 PS I don't work for Aldi!0

 According to mysupermarket
Ready made mash (I can't mash or chop so get these ready done)
 Sliced onions
 Dumpling mix
 Bag of salad
and then brands that I know they don't sell Bold 2 in 1 and E45 junior wash (my daughter has eczema so I am reluctant to change these)
It might be worth me having a walk around the actual shop one day and see what they sell.Nov GC £0/£2100

They definitely do bagged salads (including rocket) but probably not the prepped veg/dumpling mix - not something I buy/look for. Their washing powder is great and they do a 2 in 1 version.
Definitely worth a try - we do a once a month shop there as the nearest one is quite a drive away.
 Good luck0

 Thank you.
I'm definitely going to give them a go one week, I've got no excuse I have 2 within 3 miles of me.
Do you shop monthly and then top up your fresh stuff weeek to week?Nov GC £0/£2100

Haha I meant I can't chop the onions or the potatoes. I have an arm injury. I can see how weird that sentence looks without knowing that! lolNov GC £0/£2100

No it's not, it's a while ago since I injured it now but I'm still getting over it, I can't fully extend or bend it ( and i was told yesterday not to expect any more extension) and there's talk of me maybe having a joint replacement on my elbow Nov GC £0/£2100 Nov GC £0/£2100

I do my full weekly shop there, we have adapted to some things, but are better off for it!
As Lidl's stuff can change some bits weekly, it keeps things interesting (such as 'chinese week' - nice thai curry paste).
I admit I still purchase coffee pods at the main supermarket, but it is a treat, so I dont do it every week.Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0

you can always get someone to help. Mash can be frozen, so you could cook up a batch all at once.
Or alternatively use a blender or other sort of appliance?Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0
