What do you want done with the driveway? We had ours completely dug out and replaced with grey monoblocking in front of the house (around 20 sq m) and then slabs and chips to the side of the house. It cost a lot more than i thought it would but was so worth it! We also had proper drainage put in as we had problems with our driveway and back garden flooding regularly. It cost us £7k all in.

OMG £7k!!! I thought be about £2k... Em basically to replace the uneven crap one I have n lift up the slabs and make that a drive way and rid of the small patch of artificial grass.  Just all plain driveway right to meeting point of decking. xx

Morning.  Had a nice quiet weekend.  Did not go out in end :).  Seen the people who are doing my garden are now doing 0% finance so thinking about them doing my driveway and paying it off on that.  I will ask first of course about overpayments.  Means I will have a lovely garden by summer :)

JP is away to New York on Saturday for four days.  Alright for some eh lol Hope all ok xxx

Morning.  I have saved my holiday spends off so took that off my list.  Now focusing on decking.  Got £330 to raise to end this month, should be more than doable.  Then its loft saving next :).  Got a few bits and bobs in between but can do that also :)

    Hope all is well xx

Morning.  Starting to get paranoid about this virus... got some pasta and that to try stock up tiny bit if worst comes to worst.  Not stock piling like I see many people doing but essentials.

I'm not panicking at the moment as I always do a big shop once a month but I'm glad i bought that chest freezer last year as its still half full so I've still got food but I think the worlds media needs to stop scare mongering us as this is whats causing the panic and not all the information out there is true.  try not to panic xx

There was a lot of work in ours though. Our driveway is on quite a slope, so he had to dig it all down and put several layers of different materials down. He also used 'driveway thickness' bricks, where lots of cheaper mobs just put down patio ones. Plus, our driveway is pretty big so the area alone would be more than your average driveway.

Our next door neighbour got theirs done at the same time as us but by a different guy who was £1500 cheaper and theirs is already sinking and uneven (they didn't prep the ground underneath), their drainage finish is really bad and they're not happy with it.

For us, it was absolutely worth that cost.
