Morning! Finally payday. I sent £400 to decking fund. I will pay another £400 to next payment which means I gotta earn about £75 inbetween. I can manage that, I am aiming to get higher due to they saying it might be over due to hiring electrician. Also any money left over will go towards loft money
.
28 days til next payday. Wishing my days away. Tonight got JE, tomorrow and Saturday so hopefully be sending about £50-75 aside

You've got some awesome goals set for the year Monz!
My singular goal right now is: "Save like merry hell to have the biggest extension contingency pot possible".
I can't put a figure on what I need unfortunately! But your goals inspire me to be more organised and know what's coming up.
Also, don't mention the bloody PS5... My husband wouldn't be that bothered by the PS5 really, but his friends will all go out and get one straight away and start playing games on that and he won't be able to play the same as them online which means a PS5 is probably on my horizonSealed Pot Challenge 075

Morning. £400 to go and thats decking covered. Still want to make it about £1,900 as they said it could be more if electrician costs extra.
The birds are back in my loft!!!The loft people are not coming back til May and I do not know anyone witb ladders to cover it up so they cant get back in!!?? So back to tinfoil hanging out my window below it (apparently reflection of it can scare them. Also playing haw noises 24/7.... crazy bird lady again... I dont think it helped me shouting at them " I told you not to come back!!!"....
24 days til payday. Slightly losing the plot.xxDebt (1/9/14) £6,702.11 Debt free (30/11/2016) mortgage port- £70,077.82 and mortgage £126,517.39 o/s currently

It may be a problem depending on what kind of birds they are & if they are nesting. Do the loft people know there are birds in there? I'd tell them & see what they suggest.

Well that's good news. We once had a nest up in the eaves (so not even inside) they were making such a mess of a path on one side of the house & were a danger to hair that it became impassable.

Morning. 22 days til payday. Cannot wait til end of month and decking will be starting, I do not know how long it will take them but I gather it will be over a good few days.
Meant to be going out this weekend to Cathouse, I dont know if I can be bothered tbh. I am not one to go out anymore, or even drink much. Just not my thing. Will see. Happier a night in house watching TV or reading my book (I am so boring now :P but that suits me fine)

Morning.
£375 and reached target for decking fund now. Hoping to get another £25 by end of the weekend. Should be doable. Holiday funds are coming along nicely. I hope by end of March I can move on from decking and holiday spends to loft money to save for by end of May. So many things this year but I cannot complain the house is coming along so much better and I enjoy having goals set.
While decking is being done will ask for a quote for driveway. I am totally unsure what driveways will cost.... I do know will be expensive! I have a few things I have to save for before start saving for that: my mums 60th £300, My niece birthday (other one!) £100, my sisters 21 £210 (getting her superdry vouchers £10 cards each making it 21 lol. i also have USA end of the year, my bf and I are putting money aside into his account each month but want to up that soon so we can get whatever we want also
. Will see how it goes but would like new driveway by end of the year so I can start 2020 with planning starting for my toilet under the stairs.
