I feel like the Scottish people have once again been duped by the collaborative elites and will soon regret a no vote when nothing much changes.

This is deffo not the end of independence.

And this is why there has been so much division created by the yes campaign.

While I find the idea of voting myself out of a neo-liberal establishment that I detest would fill me with heady intoxication; I fail to see how the SNP are offering this.

Their argument is referenced around severing all ties then sitting back to enjoy the wealth.

    BUT WHAT WEALTH?

There is nothing in their propaganda about hard work, sacrifice, weathering a storm.

You can't live up here otherwise you'd realise we're being told there's no utopia. There will be pluses and minuses. Wealth not earned is a fallacy. The no camp only look at the North Sea for oil reserves, mignoring the fields in the Clyde that are banned from exploration because nuclear subs might hit them!

I'm not happy at living 30 miles from a nuclear arsenal - I didn't vote for it, ask for it, or condoned the MoD's actions. However, if you want propaganda, look to no for promising things not in their gift (it requires Westminster) so a far bigger fairy story.

An empowering and invigorating campaign, as Nicola Sturgeon would say.

    George Galloway receiving death threats....

It's going to get very nasty if the nats don't get it their way.

I recall it was an English voter that physically attacked him. As for the threats, self-publicity should not be overlooked.

If it was just the nationalists that wanted independence, you might be right - but at the polling station I saw many Labour and LibDems supporting it. It is across all parties a even the Greens.

The yes campaign has constantly been spouting on that an independent Scotland would be some form of utopia.

The fields in the Clyde that you talk about have been looked at and are uneconomical to produce from. That is why they are not being exploited not because of some rubbish that nuclear subs might hit them.

Like most people who are voting today (both yes and no) you have not looked at any actual evidence but just believe the rubbish that has been publicised.

Nothing much changing in a highly successful country like the UK sounds like a great outcome to me.

AUIU, your comments are illegal: you can't report in the media what's happening at polling stations while they are open.

If the Scotish need a small bounty each to stop them splitting off and putting in jeopardy breaking 300 years of peace, let them have it.
They'd deep fry it, like they do with Mars Bars!
    Best to keep things sweet.
As I say, like Mars Bars.

The attack on Galloway didn't take place in a polling station - it happened weeks ago in England. Galloway doesn't have a vote.

Don't think it is true anyway, as there are reports in the media of someone being arrested for assault in a polling station in Clydebank. No doubt this will garner far more coverage than the time someone went crazy with a golf club and attacked ballot boxes in 2007.

I wasn't talking about the physical attack, but the heckler shouting he was “going to face a bullet”.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.
