See SBO, told you your luck would change didn't I.
Got a call yesterday from my dad who wanted me to accompany him to the vets with their JRT as she was having her boosters done and he is suffering with his back, leg and heal at the moment. Unfortuanately, I couldn't help him as I was due at the Jobcentre 20 minutes after the dog was due at the vets.
Today we went out as MrsP had a job interview this morning and an eye test this afternoon. When we got back in at 16:00, there was a message on the answerphone from my mum enquiring if I could go round and take the dog for a walk.
As I am busy job-hunting, I think MrsP could do this (it would help her get fit and lose weight as well).Never Knowingly Understood.

Haha patman, what an excellent way to encourage all jobs to be completed with the benefits all for Mrs P!
Well, I have updated my snowball. I am at present sitting at 60 months to being debt free, thats no price to pay for shorter weeks and my mental and physical health maintained.
So onwards and upwards, and I shall update my signature and I will also claw back at those months now.
I cleared my TFS loan, it was only 300 pounds to do so. I almost yippeed but I decided against it! Other news is I use my capital one but I clear the balance in full every month, and I also use my aqua card and clear that in full, too, so there is no residual balance getting interest. So basically, thats three debts I have rid of.
Pounds to pocket will be gone in the next week. Then I am going to look to start working on the husbands cards which are more expensive than my next expensive debt, but I am going to pay half to my barclaycard and half to his cards- I get 16 months interest free on balance transfers so its worth doing to drag those debts down and improve my credit file and the rates I can get.
Health wise, I am much better generally but suffering with recurrent ear infections. So much so that I have more anti biotics and some drops and sprays and I need to go get a swab (bet thats uncomfortable) later today. I am going to up my fruit intake, nothing like some of natures own to help things along. right a quick signature update, and I am calling round a few doors, will be back tomorrow with what I hope will be a positive update

Righty o - the scores on the doors today.
Ive had a bit chat on with the husband. We now have an emergency pot, of £1000. The next pot to be populated is going to be the "bills in advance" pot of £700. That would give us some breathing space. So, with careful management, more ebaying and plenty hard work and discipline I can rid myself of worry and then get back to sorting all the cards out. The plan is the £700 pound pot is refilled every month and after my salary and the bulk of the bills (which come out on payday) have been claimed I can bung that in there.
When those pots are nicely in place I will have a good crack at the husbands capital one card and my barclaycard. Ive cleared three rotten debts in the past few weeks and I am not going to be silly and lose this momentum.
Ill drag the husband kicking and screaming into this if it kills me. I just need some breathing space and the opportunity to make the odd mistake and cope with the flat tyres and other rubbish without the worry. We can get on with it and put it back on payday. as for saving for our three day holiday in october, Ill put that on the barclaycard. The savings that is. It will reduce the interest in the short term and in the long term I will be protected when I book it.
Am off to do some more maths and general pondering.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Todays update, have paid off P2P as well.
In other less auspicious news, they took the payment twice so the savings pots a little short, best work on that til its refunded

Hi SBO, well done, very productive
when will you be refunded? how annoying!! LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
Thanks I need to keep my head up as not all weeks will be like this one. It will take 10 - 14 days but I will get sorted.
I will be speaking to the husband on the matter of his capital one card, so hopefully I can negotiate a deal.
The deal will be he lets me handle the repayments and he pays his mum 100 a month. Hopefully he will like the plan
Not much else to report apart from paying £30 off my barclaycard. Best keep on keeping on. Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Quick update. Just watching a documentary on deep purple. Today I bought some tarantula food for the lovely spiders cat food and throws for my tired sofa. Sitting with the husband about to eat spatchcock chicken and salad. Hoping my next few months go as well xTrying to shift that debt!0
