Thanks all. It went as well as could be expected. I held her and looked at her, and she was so calm and sweet. Her eyes didnt close, just became very heavy and then she felt heavier in my arms and her breathing slowed and stopped.
Myself, the vet and the nurse were all crying. I sat with her half an hour after she had gone, unable to stop the tears. As her face inevitably began to change, it was time for me to leave. My dog left us in good circumstances, much loved of the vet and a brilliant ambassador for dog and pet ownership. My family will always miss her.
Ill post about other stuff later, I am back thinking of her lovely liquid brown eyes now. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -

Thanks all. I am working from home a little today. Had some treatment yesterday and things are looking very good for me.
We are on the waiting list for a puppy. Family decision which will be right for us. Have spoken to a few breeders and they are going to let me know... the first litter is due this weekend... so we will see. Moneywise I am moving forward albeit slowly. Ive decided to take the pressure off myself and get some remedial work done to our exisiting heating, which will mean the central heating fund can slowly build rather than be a pressing requirement. Its not the best case scenario but it is how it is
