Thanks I have given my head a shake. The tenant will pay the arrears at 40 pounds a week.
This is acceptable and I have passed on my bank details.
The standard rent will be then repaid on top of that.
I will be using the additional 40 pounds a week to put directly to debts. The rent is used to buy coal and pay for my sons out of school clubs.
other than that, we have snow, and while its not thick its very slippery due to ice underneath it. I hope it warms up a little as its like living in the tundra at the moment!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hugs for feeling low. Glad you didn't stay away XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

thanks, I have to update my snowball daily, the child support came in so I repaid 40 from the aquacard and 40 from my barclaycard.
Topped up the pots and am feeling ok. Just need the rent and back payments to come in.

Ive just been having a bit think while on a conference call.
My smallest interest gathering debt is the husbands barclaycard initial. Its at 34.9 % and the balance on that is at 1553 pounds.
Thats also at the highest interest rate.
I will be seeing if I can get rid of that in 55 days. Until the first of April.
Ive 2 paydays and I have the 40 a week to come in from the tenant - which is £280. Ive anything I make from ebay, plus I have 50% of the child benefit and child support which makes another £177. This means a maximum, provided the tenant pays, to find on each payday of 548 pounds.
I am also due some money back from a loan I overpaid which will make the whole exercise much easier .
I might not make it, as it is heavily dependant on ebay sales and the tenant repaying but I am going to have a bloody good go at it.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
That sounds like a very positive plan to get rid of the evil interest rate card!!! I am sure you can do it! - I really wish I could get into ebay selling - I'm sure I have a load of stuff if I put my mind to it!!!0

Its easy judi to clear clutter and make a little bit money!
update on the above... the very clever husband rang barclaycard and managed to get the interest rate down to 29.9%
Not the best, but better than some of the others we have.
I am going to do the same with my capital one card which has a zero balance and then I can do a BT from Aqua which is the next most expensive and keep to the plan to get rid of that as there will be a small balance remaining! Need to look at what and how to do it.

Right!
Have rung and spoken to Capital One.
They reduced the interest rate from 34.94% to 30.9%. Not epic but better than the Aquacard interest.
So, I have balance transferred the Aqua balance which I could. I have 1188.74 remaining.
So plan is to clear that before march 1st!
Here goes!!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
