  • I was going great today until mum popped up and asked me to take her and the cat up the vets. He used to live with me but moved out when the baby was born. Anyway I finally started work on my challenge of sorting the walk in cupboard in the bedroom. This is going to take a while but its starting to look better. I also spent some time in the sewing room and I can now move around it without breaking a leg slipping on building blocks.

The washing is all up to date, just waiting for the last bit to dry. I'm going to spend some time clearing the stairs before picking hubby up.

I think I would get on better if I could concentrate on one are at a time.

  • Hi all, just dipping in and dipping out again.

Lots of love to your family and respect for your grandfather HB. Will think of you.

LW, grrr to the tax man. OH is doing some of our kitchen himself so progress will be slower. After having a total meltdown when I came home from work to see the state of the place I took a deep breath and got on with it. All the top cupboards are emptied and down. I have hoovered the thickest of the dust, grime and bits of plaster then made a little corner in the utility room for cooking. Pasta bake now in the halogen oven.

And breathe. Going to take the dog for a walk now. Builder coming at 7pm so things have to be cleared for then but I need a minute.
  • hacked through another two roots and moved compost bin, but stump is going nowhere, its not even wobbling. will have to get DH to do some digging and axe wielding tonight after he's done his weights (will be a sort of work out) DD1 just texted with more christmas shopping questions, her goal this year is to have it all done by october.

going to start prepping food now and then do some flying in the house.

:D I love how we humans reference cats, lol, we know who's in charge!

Lovely to see some more returning flyladies :T

Back to paid stuff today and I'm so T.I.R.E.D. Kids are out at swimming with granny, and they will have to manage with beans on toast for tea. There is some leftover chicken for granny.

I'm WFH the next two days since the team are all off various places, so will attempt a lunchtime flutter. Downstairs floors are a bit grim so that may be the place to start.

Will also make some more cough syrup, how ironic that my throat has been feeling very thick since last night... Must be coming up to flu season - wonder when the clinics are...
