Am bit concerned that so far over the budget for still half the month to go but I do have quite a lot in stock and still trying to use stuff from freezers. Some meals might be a bit weird for the last week :rotfl:

Should be a NSD today, but I do need to buy yeast. Spent about £35 in LIDL last night (will update sig later) which should last the week. That includes a HUGE sack of potatoes, cat food, some treats and enough bread flour/bread mixes to make 10 or so loaves of bread!0

Just made my list for the end of week shop and hardly need anything.
Glimpsed to the last week on our meal plan too & we only need 3 meal plan items (buns 4 burgers, spuds & sausages) plus milk/bread & any other freshies we might need by then.
Really hoping to be £40-50 under - would be great to have that to pop into the Christmas pot. :snow_grin Just heard on tv that it's 10 weeks today until Christmas day too! Crazy! :xmastree:0 -
Popped into Mr Ts to do this week's main shop and spent £26.52, no idea why it's so high as I didn't buy very much - not even any meat or treats in that just basics like bread, butter, cheese, teabags.
I also bought some bananas from the farm shop which cost £1.06. Total so far for month now stands at just under £140/£250 with just over a week to pay day so looking good.

Thanks for the link to this blog, it looks really interesting. I think I may have just lost the rest of my evening:rotfl:
NSD today on groceries for me, the first in ages:oSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
So pleased with myself as I'm managing rather well to keep grocery spending down to one day a week. OK for once in my life I'm actually at home enough to know what's in the cupboards, fridge and our new freezer, but still really pleased.
This week we are going to try something a little different. I think we are going to take out $100 cash, then allocate $80 to this week's groceries. The other $20 is going to be used to build up supplies.
Fiance just didn't have anything here when i arrived and i struggled each week as I was buying the store cupboard basics as well as main ingredients.0
