I have done this challenge before but I think I really need to keep track on how much we are spending so I'm back
5 weeks in October for us so will go for £375 as that is what our budget should be. This is for 2 adults 2 under 4s, one in nappies, and a dog.

Please can I go for a target of £250 again this month
I did toy with the idea of trying for lower, but think it would be a one month wonder, so not very helpful. 250 keeps me budgeting hard and includes all cleaning, toiletries and loads of animal food as well as food and drink. My month runs 21st - 20th so today is day 1

can you put me down again for £100. Still got to go till 30th for Sept but hopefully we'll make it.
Can't believe it but we've just become "Mortgage Free" thanks to MSE:money: Thank you so much to everyone on MSE for all ur help since 2004 when my husband was made redundant. He's had to work away since then but will be home in 3 weeks and we have managed to clear all debts and mortgage with ur help and advice.
The feeling is fantastic - we'll never be rich but we can have the champagne (well sparkling wine from Al*i of course!!) lifestyle and we know that family and friends are important.
It's taken 10 years but I have learned so much and hopefully passed a lot on to my kids. Thank you again:j:j:jLightbulb Moment - Jan 2005

I didn't join the September challenge as was on holiday for most of it! I've allowed £50 to restock cupboards from September's money and will be starting October's GC on 24th September which is DH's payday until 23rd October and will again aim for £250 for the month.
