Iphone 5 all of a sudden using all of data allowance. Help please?

You can stop this by going to settings on your iPhone - Facebook - settings - autoplay video on WiFi only

I had that on wifi anyway, just turned it off see if that makes any difference. Thank you

Strangely enough mine dropped to under 100mb overnight recently. Still have no idea why, my data usage was normal as always, data usually lasts me the month.
I think maybe they've had issues.. haven't enquired further though. I thought it might be because I'm currently disputing my contract with them but idk.

They told me they had trouble with the app and mine wasn't showing correctly. I do think they have had issues. I've been with them for around 5 years now and always had a password, all of a sudden it's gone and I have to set a new one

Mm sounds too convenient. My 4G is still working and is fast, so they aren't limiting my data even though I'm apparently on 0mb now!

Well it's happened again. I forgot to turn my data off when I got in yesterday around 3.30pm just remembered about it now. Out of 1.3gb got 43mb remaining!! According to my phone settings I have only used 694mb. This is so annoying

I've had problems with my sons phone since last Dec - constantly having to up his limit as he reaches his 4gb data limit very quickly -never been a problem before. He is mostly on wifi but on reading various threads on other sites it seems 4G uses the data even when connected to wifi - I have got him to turn 4G off but then why am I paying for 4g? EE currently investigating last high bill as it was 4 times over because one of their staff removed the self imposed limit I put on. EE have now told me to take phone to Apple in case it's faulty - I think they are now just fobbing me off rather than admit they have issues with data. Feel trapped into contract - other than turning everything off, any ideas?

Well I've since upgraded my phone and given that one to my daughter. The data is due to renew in a few days so let's see if it happens again. It's usually in the first day or two of data renewing that it gets eaten up through the night. I know what you mean about EE fobbing you off I eventually got through to someone who really tried to help instead of saying I must have been using it myself. He promised faithfully to ring me back when my data renew date was up but he didn't :0/
I'm tied into contract for another year with this phone too
