you get no housing benefit or council tax benefit because they say I have NO CHILDREN
    that's the whole point!

You would get housing benefit and council tax credit for yourself. The children can only be added to one parent's benefits claim. You officially only have them 2/7 days, not 50% of the time, so their mum, quite reasonably, claims for housing and CTB for them.

If you can't afford after school activities, then don't send them to those. If you can't afford the extra two evening meals for them, then tell their mum she has to collect them on the days she officially has them. Then look for a job of 30+ hours a week, like the rest of us who have children!

It's not rocket science and the state is not responsible for paying for your children twice over, just because you prefer extra time with your children, over having a job.

There's no need for the shouting or rudeness, either!

Lots of people get Housing Benefit and Council Tax support with no children.
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.

There is no such thing as a child benefit book. You can't be given something that doesn't exist.

You should qualify for a small amount of Housing Benefit on those wages and that amount of rent although it would depend on your LHA rate or if social housing depending on any deduction for bedroom tax.

So you want to use your children to get more benefits?
that's very much how it comes across. You've been advised to take your children back before dinner, to stop paying for their activities or clothes, but you don't seem interested in this advice at all, instead just seemed focussed on how to get the CB so you can get a lot more money from the tax payers.

Most separated non resident parents work and they manage with their income.

It's very easy to be critical when on the outside looking in. I have a friend who paid a lot of money to his ex every month, she also received all the child related benefits despite the fact that the kids actually spent more time with him than her, because she also made the kids lives miserable.
She wouldn't pay for school trips, any activities out of school etc so he had to pay or make the kids suffer.
For the OP it would be a similar situation if he dumped the kids back on his ex and told her to get on with it.
The other responses are correct about the fact that he has no chance of getting a tribunal to reallocate funds, but looks like some are expecting him to walk away from responsibilities too.
