No, but I'm a natural worrier. I've also read all.the newbie stuff.
I'll draft a letter and post it here later then and see what you think.
do not draft any letters unless they are to the supermarket, because you run the risk of using words like I and identifying the driver
stick to the template letters and always use THE DRIVER in any correspondence
ideally dont draft any letters unless you have to do so, stick to the tried and trusted words you see on here
wait for the NTK is the usual route on these issues especially if its PE0 -

Sorry thats what I meant.0 -
well if you have not got the NTK yet, stop rushing
if and when it comes , just send the template letter from post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread
if you have shopping receipts or a bank statement, redact any personal info and add a point D) the driver was a valid shopper in the store and the receipts (or redacted bank statement) is/are attached
notice there is nothing to identify the driver other than what they did and the proof , nothing else
at this stage you dont need our help , neither do you need it when you send in the template letter (or use the shortened template version with D) added
if you have NO RECEIPTS etc, just use the template letter, add nothing at all
then wait for a popla code0 -
I wouldn't say this unless someone very close to me wasn't in exactly the same position as you, other than the fact they didn't even shop at Lidl.
I wouldn't say this for any other PPC and principal other than Athena and Lidl.
My money is where my mouth is. I am not saying this hypothetically.
As you don't appear to have contacted Athena I would say your other option is to completely ignore the letter you have already had and the next one you will get. For that is all the person very close to me has had and the event was well over three months ago.
Athena do not do court and from what I have read their relationship with Lidl means they do not retain a great deal of what money soft touches and mugs pay them.
My own belief is that enough soft touches and mugs do pay them as a result of the scary letters they send but if you ignore them it does not fit their business plan to go chasing people very far, let alone to the ends of the earth.0
