You have the right idea for your appeal already!To clear up this unhelpful arguing of where I shopped, I parked in Lidl to shop at lidl. I wasn't intending to stay there as had other errands to run in town which were within walking distance so as I had no change I kept the car in the car park. There were lots of other spaces available for other shoppers. I don't know why you feel the need to argue the point. I understand that I can appeal any invoice that may come through the door and I will be doing. £90 is not a justifiable amount for a car park that doesn't even have a ticket machine. They've lost nothing.

Wow, I've just read someone's letter and its all so complex. It really isn't as simple as "hey you guys, this fine is a joke and you're not legally allowed to take it so I won't be paying, goodbye" you have to list all the legal spiel. Is it worth it for £45? When u may lose them end up paying £900

It's as easy as that for the first stage appeal and for the second one you may need to a little replacing here and there to get right PPC in, in this case Athena if you really need to. You really do need to do a lot more reading of the NEWBIES sticky which will save you asking questions that are already covered.
The more you know and understand this stuff, the better you will be able to deal with your problem.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
