I didn't say you hadn't
The YQ forms a large part of the tax (for example Atlanta - £166) and it was pulling in at £5 in error, hence these low prices.0 -
Will be interesting to see if the prices are honoured. They took their sweet time getting the issue fixed, that's for sure.0

Just saying it to warn anyone who thinks they've got a bargain that in fact they might not. Anyone who got it and immediately booked non-refundable hotels, etc., would be a bit unhappy to then find that they couldn't afford a revised flight price.
But hey, those who got it when it was available may have struck lucky, hopefully some of them will post back once they've used the flights.0 -

Are you saying that anyone who has paid and received a booking ref and can view their flight on the airlines website may still have that flight cancelled or are you just scaremongering0 -

I booked mine direct with the airline, so have no fear of my price being revised.0 -

It may not even come to light until 24 hours before departure. I have had a couple of flights with Virgin where I was unable to use online check in and had to check in at the airport. On arriving at the airport desk I was told this was because my fare/taxes was underpaid by a few pounds and had to pay the difference0 -

Under these conditions previously some airlines honour the tickets, and some do not. It's up to you to take the chance or not. They are not legally required to honour error tickets.Legal team on standby0 -

I'm sure there are more examples, but this article shows recent examples of error fares which were, and were not honoured.

Well, lets hope it works out that way and you have a great cheap holiday.0
