No change for the three we have in our household, they're all the £10 bags and are always well within their limits. It's the unlimited texts that are used the most here.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

no change for me - on the £12 goodybag, use more than the data provided on the £10 goodybag but don't need more than 3gb.0

It's a loser for most people, the £12 unlimited data goodybag was the most popular goody bag available. Their forums are raging about it being capped.
Turkeys don't vote for Christmas, the community did not want this change. They must think people are stupid if they think we believe we have a say in the pricing for a huge corporations products.
Judging from the sycophantic drivel often spouted on the gg forums, a fair number of members are stupid - present company excepted!0 -
giffgaff has never been a good deal for me. I bought a 3 SIM in June with £10 and I still have £7 on it. I don't think giffgaff does £1 goodybags.0

i suspect this is going to be a massive looser for giffgaff.
the change in the way we use our phone with smartphones has meant that call time minutes are the least used and data being the highest used thing today.
with giffgaff the unlimited bit was a massive attraction for many. by changing them it means it may start to cost people more money.
which eventually leads to them moving elsewhere.
my suspicions are O2 (who's network giffgaff use) are to blame.
in the past 2 years they have lost a massive chunk of custom due to poor network maintenance, poor deals, wasteful loyalty schemes and the mid contract price hike scandal.
they've got to recoup some money from somewhere.0 -
Bought what is likely to be my last £12 "Goodybag" yesterday. I don't make that many calls or send text and, although 3GB would mostly still be fine for me, more "intelligent" use of mobile data and making more use of the various Wi-Fi points available means that I can reasonably easily do with just a 2GB allowance for £10 a month with 3. Added to that the fact that with 3 I can make use of that allowance in the "Feel at home" foreign destinations (France being one I visit regularly) makes it the most likely choice for me.0

Has anyone checked their phone to see how much data they *actually* use each month?
I've had the £10 goodybag each month for the last 18 months and never got near the 1GB data limit. Some months I've even dropped to the £7.50 plan.
I'm on wifi when I'm at home, at my parents, at my inlaws, at friends, most pubs have free wifi - even my local vet and ASDa have it.
It's only when I'm in the car or walking the dogs that I don't use wifi.0 -

I check it quite a lot, and it varies a lot but rarely less than 4GB a month.0 -
