Yes I was surprised at the figures too, but the money was paid direct to me from the HE into my bank account. when they first moved in they were receiving approximately £330 every four weeks but then over the course of a few months this went up to £535 every four weeks. I should add this figure also includes rates.

Sorry...missed that it had already been posted.Looking at the link provided above, house located in BT80 and is a four bed house so they should be entitled to £110 per week max. I suppose the extra must have come from the rates?
They could possibly be receiving a discretionary HB top-up.0 -

tenants may also get a discretionary payment .I know one person who gets a discretionary payment of £15 per week .I know another person who gets a discretionary payment of £7 per week on top of other payments ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0
